“Heaven in NEPA”
Reviewed February 11, 2013

There are not many more delightful places to walk in the country, let alone NEPA. Folks are friendly, the scenery is wonderful and it's very well kept.

“When People Care it Shows”
Reviewed January 29, 2013

The path is beautifully maintained. It's a welcome sight to someone who wants to feel as though they're "getting away from it all" without having to drive far to do so. Just lovely for an afternoon stroll with the children or early evening walk with a loved one after dinner. More "serious" walkers can and do walk there with all manner of high energy as it's just a great outdoor space.

“Best place to walk”
Reviewed January 26, 2013

This is probably "the " best paved path to walk, anywhere. The scenery is fantastic, trees, flowers, lake, animals, and benches to sit on and wonderful shade in the summer and no fumes (except on the side next to 307). And best of all NO DOGS or cars or motorcycles to worry about. However, they do need to post the no dogs signs more prominently. 31/2 miles around

“Best Running Spot”
Reviewed November 15, 2012

I run the lake weekly. It a great place to train for longer runs, because you can leave your water and hydrate every 3.5 miles. It also has just the right amount of hills, so you can train for any course. On top of all that , it is beautiful.

“Definitely the place to go on a hot summer day”
Reviewed November 12, 2012

The Walking Path around Lake Scranton is a definite breath of fresh air with wonderful views of the Lake and the surrounding woods. Temperature drops by at least 10 degrees under the tree lined path. Safe, clean, and well maintained. Quiet getaway.
