It was good!, not the best we've had but it was food and it was filling. I feel the place could be a little bit more bigger, kind of small

Forget the history. Forget the century old traditions. Forget that they make Texas wieners the way the heavens intended. Just know this: if you are a fan of hot dogs, chili, gravy fries and other food that rates higher in taste than health... this is your place. It is an American treasure... an old school grill that unapologetically embraces the best of blue collar USA food. Just go. Enjoy it. I feel for anyone who can't get on board with the awesomeness of this classic American counter.

We stopped here after reading reviews on trip advisor and because we wont eat at chain restaurants this was our 1st choice during our visit to Scranton. We really enjoyed it.We both had their specialty which is hot dogs w/chili and we shared an order of fries. It was very good and the service provided by Lisa was outstanding as well. You cant beat their prices for lunch.we give it Thumbs Up!!

Grew up in Scranton and always enjoyed Texas wieners. Have tried both locales - Cedar Ave and Lackawanna Ave spots. In my opinion, they are equally good. Love the original with extra onion and mustard. Great take-out.

We were visiting Steamtown and saw a mural on the train ride for this place...we decided to give it a try. A wonderful place with good food-nothing fancy but the Texas Weiner was very tasty...chili, onions and mustard mmmmmmm so glad we found it. A fun expierence.
