Touch of Garlic is located on the 400 block of White St near the corner. It is an old building with a divided dining area. I normally get take out so I cannot comment on the table service. Of the 4 or so entrees I have tried there all but one was very tasty. The chef must like gorgonzola cheese because many dishes have it in there one way or another. My favorite thing is actually an appetizer which is enough to make a meal out of. It's the Whole Roasted garlic which is one of the best things I've ever had. Why hasn't anyone else thought of whole roasted heads of garlic, nestled with crostini and a delicious garlic spread?! For those of you recoiling in horror about so much garlic, please know that roasted garlic is nothing like raw garlic, it turns sweet and can be spread like butter. This thick sauce of Gorgonzola cheese, carmelized onions and sundried tomatoes is sublime. YUM! The eggplant rollatini was average, but some of the other pasts dishes were very good. The creme carmel was also very good, but the cannoli was disappointing and rather expensive. Nevertheless, I will be back.....more garlic appetizers!
