“Getting married at South Court Inn”
Reviewed November 23, 2011

Getting married at South Court Inn was very easy and enjoyable. Tom made it relaxing and stress free. Eloping was a wonderful way to get married with no hassles or concerns. The inn is beautiful, the food great, and Luray is a lovely town with lots to do and fun places to eat. The townspeople in Luray are extremely nice, and it is a cool little town to visit. The court house where you get the marriage license is just down the street from the inn, and you walk in and get a license in five minutes. You only need your drivers license and you are all set to go! Amazing!

We struggled for months trying to decide how to get married. Plans escalated and spiraled and the joy of getting married was dampened. Eloping to South Court, and not having to plan a wedding event that was becoming a beast, was such a relief! Tom provided all the bells and whistles we wanted, along with pictures, cake and a lovely ceremony-without having to deal with all the ridiculous issues of planning a family driven event that was more for others then for us.

Our two nights at the South Court Inn Bed and Breakfast were wonderful. The Inn is lovely and Anita and Tom made us feel so welcome in their home. The food...outstanding. They will definitely spoil you. We hope to visit again in the near future.

Where do I begin?! My husband and I were married at the Inn. Tom and Anita were great! They took care of all of the details from beginning to end. All we had to do was show up. Breakfast was perfect! From the place settings to the food. Tom is a great cook! Our room was to die for! The house is beautiful as well as their decorations. They have spent a lot of time and thought into every little detail. I recommend the South Court Inn and we will definately be back. Thank you Tom and Anita for the greatest wedding experience a girl can ask form. Sincerely, Scott and Ivette Morgan

Our stay at South Court Inn was absolutely fabulous! The hosts were very nice and helpful, as well as full of information regarding the house's history. They clearly have put a ton of hard work into making it as beautiful as it is. I felt like I was in a movie! The rooms are lovely - we stayed in the Emma Glenn - and the two person jacuzzi tub was wonderful. Our only negative was that the bed was slightly uncomfortable, but that's simply because we're not huge fans of Memory Foam - not a complaint about the B&B. Breakfast was BEYOND amazing! Tom truly is talented in the kitchen. It was nice to hear over breakfast how he decided on and prepared each dish. Overall a wonderful experience and we plan to come back when we have a chance!

Room Tip: Emma Glenn! Two-person jacuzzi tub was amazing!

My husband and I had our wedding at the Inn and spent three wonderfu nights in the main house. We loved it! Mr. and Mrs. Potts were gracious hosts who were always available but never intrusive. The rooms and food were wonderful. My husband never likes to travel and hates to be away from home but honestly did not want to leave Luray. He actually asked me to consider moving there. We cannot wait to return to South Court and would recommend it to anyone who wants to be treated like a king and queen.

We spent the weekend in the cottage. It was very nice and cozy. We would suggest updating the TV's. Breakfast was very good. The food was a bit fancy for us, however the table settings and the history lessons given by both Tom and Anita were wonderful. The main house is absolutely beautiful and very well decorated. This was our first stay at a B & B and we are looking forward to our next stay.

Room Tip: The cottage is great for privacy.
