“awesome cave formations”
Reviewed April 22, 2013

The tour guide we had was great and the cave itself is quite impressive. Dream Lake with its perfect mirror reflection was probably our favorite feature.

The only complaint we have is that the tour group size was quite large and I'm not sure if folks near the end could hear the guide very well or benefit as much.

The caverns were amazing. I've never been in one before and thought it was great. The tour guide did a great job explaining everything.

“The caves are cool”
Reviewed April 20, 2013

I love visiting Luray Caverns because it is cool and there is a lot to do. There is a nearby museum with cars. The ticket, which cost $24, includes a tour of Luray Caverns, a self-guided tour of the car and carriage caravan, and the admission to the museum. The tours depart every 20 minutes. I liked learning about the history and the stories behind the caverns. The gift shop has a lot of interesting things to buy. If you are coming around lunch time, pack a lunch, as you could save money.

“curtain formations”
Reviewed April 20, 2013

The curtain formations at Luray Caverns are the best in the world according to our guide. Apparently Nat Geo or some similar authority has deemed them so as well.
