Talk about relaxing! My husband, son and our best friend stayed for 3 nights and we did not want to leave. The chalet we were in was wonderful. The views spectacular. The girls in the office and the owners are the niceset most curtious people. They catered to our every need and they know what the meaning of a relaxing vacation is. There are NO PHONES in any of the cabins and chalets, how great is that! Also it is a dead zone for cellphones! We have decided to make them a yearly destination and honestly think you should too! Dennis, Stacie, Caroline and Victoria thank you for making our vacation a real vacation. we have not felt this rested in a very long time. See you all next year!

Our trip arose out of an impulse to visit Sequoia National Park , a favorite place of my parents when my sister and I were children. Mother, now 94, was eager to see again the redwood trees and our old camping sites. Real disappointment was felt by all of us when we learned that my sister's beloved 'gentleman' poodle would disallow our staying in the park. Great relief followed when I discovered The Sequoia Village Inn on the internet, a place that allowed guest dogs. Even more delight was experienced when we actually moved into our redwood cabin with kitchen and large deck where we spent most of our time when at 'home.' The charm and cleanliness of our cabin and the attractiveness of the mountain setting added to our enjoyment and caused us to spend more time 'at home' than is usually the case. The owners, Dennis and Stacy Villavicencio purchased the property which includes several lovely hillside cottages and pool a couple of years ago. Their careful and loving efforts to create a human and pet friendly environment
won ours and our neighbors affirmations throughout our stay.
We would heartily recommend this place to anyone with or without pets, and we hope to return in the spring.

We stayed in Eagle cabin which is in the mountains and very private. The kitchenette was very convenient and we loved Bar-be-quing on the patio after a long day swimming or exploring in the park. There was unlimited phone calling and ice available across the street and a great restaurant if you like to eat out on the river. During the day, we could fish or swim in the river across the street although the river is really low now. This site is available to be checked out on webcam so you know what you are getting and we were very satisfied as we love the great outdoors.
