I had a wonderful chimichanga and my wife had a great chili Relleno. The fresh salsa made it even better. The place was packed on Thursday night but the waitstaff handled it well.

This is a diamond in the rough. One of the best meals at any price and their prices are very reasonable. Outdoor and indoor seating, but on a fine late summer evening, outdoors just makes it all the more fun. The chef knows Mexician and is an food artist, making just the right combinations of fresh foods and spices.
It was a bit busy during the dinner hours so a fast paced dinner service is not to be expected. However the chips, fresh salsa, beverages and conversations with friends more than filled the time. The food will not disappoint you.
It is a casual dining atmosphere serving up brilliantly prepared food.

There aren't many choices for dinner in Three Rivers just outside of Sequoia National Park. While visiting the park we stayed at the Comfort Inn across the street and within walking distance it was either Mexican or pizza. We chose Casa Mendoza and were pleased with the experience. In all honesty the food was ok, not spectacular when you compare it to everything we have available to us nearby in Los Angeles but it was decent coupled with an ice cold beer.

What really made the evening was the live entertainment and the helpful staff. We were lucky enough to get the table outside next to the guitarist/singer that was playing the perfect selection of chill music. It really took things up a notch, great ambiance. Additionally, the staff was great and very helpful in answering questions about food prep (my son has a food allergy) and they really made things easy.

They were really busy that night as it was Labor Day weekend but the service was still good. If you find yourself in Three Rivers, give them a try.

Great find! The server brought us homemade salsa and chips and water as soon as we sat down. They were both delicious. I had the veggie fajitas for lunch. They were also really good. It did however say on the menu they came with zucchini, but there were nine in mine. Over good food for a reasonable price!

Sat outside, was a very busy evening. Short staffed but they tried but had to ask 3 times for water. Menu was good and so was the food.
