“avoid at all costs”
Reviewed July 24, 2010

it was not the slow service that upset us - the overworked waitress was charming - it was the revolting, almost inedible food. Between the four of us we had a steak, a burger, a tuna sandwich and chicken strips - the tuna sandwich and chicken were "not too bad" but the burger was terrible and the steak, served with mashed potato topped with some disgusting gloop, was revolting.

This place is more famous for breakfast, but be warned - we saw many flies crawling over the breakfast pastries!

There are not many places to eat in Three Rivers - we would suggest Sierra Salads and Subs.

“Nice place with varied menu, inside and outside seating”
Reviewed July 21, 2010

We were traveling to Sequoia National Park with a 10 and 12 yr niece and nephew mid July. Luckily found this place for dinner coming and lunch going. Standard café menu also bakery pasteries available. Breakfast all day. Hot and cold sandwiches and full dinners. Reasonable prices for food. Adults and kids really liked both meals. Air conditioningthat works, large restuarnat that feels cozy. Great service and friendly staff. Kids liked that could go outside and run around while waiting for the meal- too hot for any adults on those two days!!
We plan on stopping there again with our next trip to Sequoia Natinal Park.

“Good choice for breakfast”
Reviewed July 8, 2010

Stopped there on our way home on the 5th of July. We had a very nice experience. The service was friendly and they kept the coffee cups full. The food was very good. I had the vegetarian omelet and my spouse had the French toast. Both were perfectly cooked and came quickly to the table. The atmosphere is pleasant. Not too exciting. We ate inside because we didn't want to spend our time shooing flies. Highly recommend. It's not ritzy, but it's very nice for the price.

“Best food the entire week”
Reviewed June 30, 2010

Stopped for breakfast after 6 days in the park. But food we ate all week. Much better than the Lodge food even. Service was very friendly. We were not rushing so the slower pace suited us. Sat outside on lovely patio. Varied menu was nice. I had Chicken Enchiladas with eggs and they were fab. Kids had pancakes and bacon and ate every bite. We would go back for sure.
