This restaurant has been around forever and the reason is that it satisfies all those cravings for Polynesian food. The lobster sauce is great and the egg rolls and pork strips are classic. Worth the ride as other similar restaurants are disappearing.

Visited with my 2 grown children. Pu Pu platter with beef was huge. Lots to take home. The menu is expansive. Nothing special but good choices, good food. The place is a bit worn over the years & could really use some updating. The bar area looks new, bright & upscale, the restaurant is a bit shabby. Waiter was attentive without hovering. Food was served promptly & hot. Should have asked if we wanted things served together or not. Lots of good leftovers.

This is a huge restaurant with many rooms, each with its own personality. The menu is equally huge. Almost too many choices! In addition to many Asian style dishes, there is also sushi. And they are known for the vast variety of chicken wing styles.

Talk about an off night! We have gone here off and on for many years, but last night came close to a disaster. When we headed for the Thai room--on the left inside the front door--the woman at the desk had an angry, brusque demeanor, leading us in a military march to our table in the very back. Our waiter was smooth and took our order. When it arrived, we wondered why it tasted so odd. It seems that in almost every dish, an ingredient was missing. The shrimp and chicken pad thai was the worst. Very greasy, no vinegary bite, no peanuts, plus nothing was stirred together. It was tasteless. Wish we had sent it back. Soon we noticed that we were the only diners in that large room. Guess that says something. We won't hurry back!

If it aint broke, don't fix it. Okay the food isn't the greatest (but it's pretty darn good). The service can be a little bit, umm, disinterested at times (but has been fairly speedy in my experiences there). But the ambiance, and the experience of participating in a New England institution makes it all worth it.
