The outside appearance of the Comfort Suites is nice. We were able to park close to the entrance. I didn't realize how busy Cerrillos Road would be and there was construction going on also. The carpet in the room had not been vacuumed. However, the carpet throughout the hotel looked warn and filthy. The room was nice, we didn't not get a suite, but a regular room with two queen beds. The room seemed small to me and the furnishings looked cheap. The tub was cracked and looked dirty. The bathroom was really small. We did not use the pool, however, you had to go through the pool area to get to the fitness room. The fitness room was very small with three pieces of exercise equipment jammed into the room. There was not a tv in there like most places I've been, only an a/c that was leaking so much they put towels down on the floor. I noticed the outside hot tub was drained and not working. The breakfast area was small for the amount of people there on a Saturday morning.

Comfort Inn is generally always a nice place to stay and this property was not exception. The rooms were nice and clean and the staff very polite. This is not downtown Santa Fe, but we didn't want to stay downtown. Arriving by car, we found it much more convenient to get a place where we can easily park and then get around town to stores and various restaurants.

First, this is not downtown, so if you want that experience, this is not for you. However, in summer, its hard to beat, we got a standard 'suite' for less than $95 per day. It has been remodeled in the past 12 months and is totally smoke free. It was quiet, clean.

The breakfast is basic hotel serve yourself fare. For the money you save here, you can go to The Pantry, or Tecolote and get some really special food.

This is the second time we have stayed at this property, and for Santa Fe and the price, we would/will stay here again. The rooms are very good sized...perfect for a familt, and the walls are 'thick' (cant hear any one around you. The breakfast is ok and the property is showing some age...but still a great stop over place for us. This is typically our first nights 'stay-over' from N Co to Tucson (about 6-7 easy driving hours from Ft Collins CO)

Stayed here for 2 nights during a ski vacation in New Mexico.
Very pleased with the hotel, especially considering the low price compared to similar hotels in the area.
Very large room with sitting area. Free wireless internet.
Comfortable pillow top mattess with nice crisp white bed linen.
Excellent breakfast!! Pool and hot tub, which we did not have a chance to use.
If you have a car, it is a short drive to the tourist areas of Santa Fe.
