“Felt Like Home!”

We stayed at the Inn at Santa Fe for almost 2 months while we were preparing to move to New Mexico and we received exceptional service throughout our entire stay. From Cesar, the friendly and hard-working breakfast attendant, to Hunter, Oscar, Janeth and Roberta who always greeted us with a smile at the front desk, to Victoria, the manager who gave us a great deal on two rooms the service was some of the best we've ever encountered. The amenities at the hotel are also great: Fridges and microwaves in the rooms, comfortable beds, great pool, hot tub, and sauna, and a hot breakfast buffet with a lot of variety. The Inn at Santa Fe is a great value for a short or long stay.

This hotel is located 10-15 minutes from Old Town, along a "strip" with the standard types of restaurants and stores you would expect to find. They have a free shuttle that will take you into the center of town which is convenient if you are worried about parking. There is an outlet mall within walking distance. While the rooms are small but still contains a refrigerator. The staff is excellent. Breakfast is above average. We experienced a problem with our shower around 9:00 at night and it was fixed within 20 minutes. Overall, this is a great value for the money.

Room Tip: I believe some of the rooms are larger than the one we occupied.

If you research prices for accommodation in downtown Santa Fe (the Plaza), you will discover the reason that the Inn At Santa Fe is such great value. Unfortunately, the price you pay for that value is the Inn's slightly desolate location. It is very convenient to the freeway (I-25) and shares a parking lot with Santa Fe's outlet mall. You didn't visit Santa Fe just to shop at the outlet hopefully. The outlet is marginal because one third of the stores are empty.

Our room with 2 beds was of the tiniest we've ever stayed in. Tiny as it was, the room had everything needed, microwave, fridge, safe, coffee maker, large flat panel tv. The free breakfast was better than average, offering a couple southwest options, a fantastic change from the usual plain scrambled eggs. The Inn's cafe also has an evening happy hour and serves light dinners. There are no restaurants or stores within reasonable walking range.

The drive to the Plaza is not a quick one, about 15-20 minutes, but it is easy. There is very little free parking near the Plaza. For us, staying at the Inn At Santa Fe worked well because we always drive around the cities we visit, so the Inn's location was not an issue.

I made a reservation several weeks in advance based on this hotels proximity to a meeting I was attending. Imagine my surprise after driving for almost 4 hours to get there around 6 pm, looking forward to relaxing, they tell me that they DON'T have a room for me at that property because of people extending their stay...but they have a comparable room across town!!!!!! They never even attempted to notify me about the change to see if that was acceptable, and it is my opinion that they should have refused the extension for someone else if they didn't have a room! This other comparable property would have resulted in an additional 30 minute drive with as busy as that main street is in the morning rush. Extremely upset and will never stay here again....if you make a reservation here, be prepared to stay somewhere else at the last minute.....

We only had 2 nights to stay in Santa Fe and we couldn't have been more pleased with the location of the hotel, as well as the full breakfasts each morning. The staff treated us as if they really did care whether we chose their hotel or another one down the street.
There was even a billing error on our hotel charge that I found 2 days later after our trip, but when I called to ask about the charge they could not have been nicer, very apologetic even though it was an understandable error. They credited my cc immediately! I have no hesitation about staying there again and look forward to it. Will definitely recommend to our family & friends.

Stayed here for just one night, after a conference nearby. We checked in very early, so our original room wasn't ready, and we opted for smaller beds (and likely a smaller room). The room was well equipped with all we could need. There were several nice places around the inn with tables and chairs for cards, games or computer, even in the laundry room/vending/ice area. Breakfast was great - they baked specialty biscochito muffins just for us, and the staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. Spa could have been a little better maintained, and pool towels a bit larger, but that's nit-picking. I'd stay here again, even if I didn't have a special rate!

I took a group of 26 boy scouts on their way to Philmont to the Inn at Santa Fe. We were stopping over in Santa Fe after flying into ABQ. The hotel was great - clean, nicely decorated with a really good breakfast buffet (make your own breakfast burritos as well as the usual continental offerings). The pool is small but there is a nice hot tub. The sauna was under repair when we were there but just sitting outside in the sun was sauna enough.

The high point was the service. Very friendly and efficient front desk staff. Got our group in and out swiftly.

Only critique would be the location. The Inn is located at the crossroads of two major highways but a good 15 minute ride from the Plaza. So if you expect to be near the Plaza, you'll be disappointed. Not critical for us, so we enjoyed the very reasonable rates, great service and nice rooms instead.
