“Your private Santa Fe "home" -- one of the best places we've ever stayed!”
Reviewed February 8, 2010

This was our first visit to Santa Fe. On the Internet, we discovered Fort Marcy Suites, just four blocks away from the historic Plaza. We got a one-bedroom condo tucked away on a hillside that was fantastic!! We had scheduled two nights and changed it to four becaue of a major winter snowstorm that closed down I-40. We were so happy to be "trapped" in Santa Fe here! King bed, four large rooms, fantastic decor and ideal furniture in Santa Fe style, pleasing art (even a built-in "petroglyph bear" stained glass window in the entrance floyer), well-equipped kitchen, charming kiva fireplace and skylight in the living room, beautiful large bathroom with gorgeous walk-in shower surrounded by premier Santa Fe tile and lovely little patio outside. We've stayed in many condos throughout the U.S. and this was one of the best ever! Within easy walking distance of the Plaza in a lovely residential neighborhood. You'll love the QUIET and privacy, since there are very few units. An indoor pool and hot tub is available for guests behind the main office, but we were so busy in Santa Fe we never took advantage of them. Our off-season rate was unbelievable, but we'll happily pay full-season rate to stay there again. I felt sorry for travelers in some of the historic, pricey hotels we walked through -- I know they didn't have the beautiful appointments and 600 square feet of a private "home" that we did for one-quarter or one-third of the price!! Don't hesitate; you'll love the feeling of walking or driving "home" like a native in Santa Fe.

I stumbled upon the Fort Marcy Suites by mistake one day and instead of booking two hotel rooms decided to book a 3 bedroom suite through them. We have 4 small kids and two adults and it was nice to be able to spread out and have separate rooms as well as a fireplace and a full kitchen. The furnishings were nice and comfortable. The location is at the end of the road leading to Ski Santa Fe so its nice after a tiring day not to have to travel any further or be cramped in a small hotel room. The front office staff was very polite and allowed an early check in for us. Their was another staff person Mike who brought us our firewood and also stopped by to help me load luggage in a snowstorm that hit since my husband had an injured knee. We never had a chance to do much sightseeing since we were there to ski but I think this place is a great value for families and we will stay there again next time we visit.

We were happy with the space but our unit was in need of updating. The carpet needed replacing and the drain in the master bath was clogged. The finish in the tub was wearing off. It was within walking distance to town.

For a group of four - including two teenagers, our two bedroom suite was so spacious with room to sprawl out and not be on top of each other. There were three nice TV's so all could watch what they wanted in seperate rooms. The two bedrooms were spacious and the king size bed was comfortable. There were nice beddings and pillows. The kitchen was adequately stocked and had two wine bottle openers - a plus. The grounds were tranquil. The pool and hot tub relaxing after a hard day of skiing. The front office staff were exceptionaly friendly and courteous. Being a regular visitor to Santa Fe, staying at Fort Marcy Suites was a pleasure and a sure value.

We had the opportunity to stay at the Fort Marcy Suites in Santa Fe for a long weekend. This was our first time to stay there and were very pleased. The suites were very clean and spacious. It was in a very convenient location close to downtown and also on the way to the ski area. They were very courteous at the front desk and were helpful. I would highly recommend Fort Marcy to my friends and plan to stay there again in the future. Thank You.

We gave ourselves a treat with this All Seasons Resort condo! We stayed in Suite 43 at the Fort Marcy Suites over a three-day holiday weekend. The 2-BR 2.5 Bath Suite was well constructed with a very functional floor plan, great kitchen, and decorated in the Santa Fe style with folk art. The condos look over a heavily vegetated riparian zone full of birds, and downtown Santa Fe is four blocks down the hill. The office offers a complimentary newspaper and has disposables at a reasonable price. Access could be challenging for the disabled and those with trouble navigating stairs. RockyMtnTraveler

We were there for 2 nights after Christmas. We had a 1 bedroom suite(#66) that was nicely furnished, clean and well equipped. There was parking out front and we were across from Fort Marcy Park. Some of condo units and the park are on top of a hill overlooking Santa Fe, just beautiful! We walked down to the Plaza several times for dinner.....coming back was a steep climb.
