We stayed for three days. Nice and quiet. Very clean. Very satisfied with our suite. Went for groceries at Sprouts about 2 miles away. Would have liked to have a pizza pan in the suite. Loved walk-in shower and were pleasantly surprised to have a tv in living room as well as dining room. Bring lots of quarters! there is a place to do your laundry $1.75 for wash and $1.25 for first 10 minutes then 25 cents for each additional. You will also need those quarters when you go down to The Plaza because you will need 8 quarters for two hours of parking. the meter will only accept 2 hours of parking so had to go back to the car three times to feed the meter. The Plaza is excellent with lots of history and lots of stores everywhere. No problems finding bathrooms. I would suggest visiting the museum at the house of governors. so interesting. The first night we walked down to The Plaza. It was a walk uphill so we only did that once and drove the rest of the time. We would definitely stay there again for a return visit.

The unit (unit 9) at Fort Marcy is huge, two stories, nicely furnished, feels like a real home. Walking distance to downtown, yet on a quiet and hilly section of the town. We were booked on a premium 2 bed, but got 3 bedrooms, with living/dining, full kitchen downstairs, and laundry in unit. Parking outside could be a little tight. Other than that, a perfect stay.

A group of us spent a long weekend in Santa Fe recently, and the Fort Marcy Suites were perfect for our stay. We had a premium 2-bedroom, 2-1/2 bath condo, and the living room sofa was also a hide-a-bed if needed. We had a two-story unit that was quite nicely furnished.

The living area was quite spacious and the dining table seated 6. We took advantage of the full kitchen to have breakfasts and some dinners in the condo, so we didn't have to eat in restaurants all the time. We didn't have a car, so we often walked to the Plaza area (not too far, but coming back is an uphill trek). Fort Marcy Suites does have a complimentary shuttle service during the day to get you to the plaza and back, as well as to and from the local grocery store - quite helpful.

The pool area could use some revamping but we didn't plan to spend any time there so it wasn't a problem for us. As noted in other reviews, the WiFi can be "iffy" but usually worked when needed.

We found the staff to be very helpful for checking in, providing area information, providing the shuttle transportation, and assistance with storing luggage prior to departure. We'd stay here again on our next visit to Santa Fe.

Room Tip: Premium units are supposed to be more updated than standard. Our premium condo was very lovely and...

We have fallen in love with Santa Fe over the years. We we have stayed at Fort Marcy several times. It's a well maintained condo complex just off Artists road. Each unit is individually owned and rented out by the property management company. Furnishings and decor will vary by unit.
Here is what is great:
1) Location, location, LOCATION! Just uphill from the Cross of the Martyrs and next to Fort Marcy Park, it's a wonderful location to explore Santa Fe. Walk to the Plaza (we didn't, our adult/teen kids did) five minutes to Ten Thousand Waves Spa, and an easy scenic drive up to the ski basin. Canyon Road restaurants and galleries are close by.
2) Space. As I've said, we have stayed at several of the condos. Most recently, at #6o, which has 3 bedrooms 2 baths upstairs and a large living room half bath downstairs. Full kitchen. We traveled with our adult daughter, her husband and our 17 year old daughter. There is a beautiful upstairs balcony with city views and this unit overlooks beautiful landscaped grounds. We could all spread out and no one felt crowded. In other units, we have had mountain views off a front porch and other amenities. Specify non-smoking if that bothers you.
Things to know:
Off street parking is plentiful, but be aware you may have stairs to get to your condo. Laundry and pool on-site, open during office hours. I've read some reviews that said WiFi was spotty, but I've never had an issue. Property management can provide wood for the kiva fireplace at an additional charge--completely worth it on a chilly night. Open some wine and enjoy!

Close to the Plaza, these self-catering condos are all individually furnished and decorated in a genuine Southwestern style. Our particular premium condo (as opposed to standard) had two bedrooms and two bathrooms, along with upgraded furnishings. Full kitchen with absolutely everything you'd need to eat "at home" - which we did. Very quiet, although there were people around, and plenty of parking nearby.

True, the internet isn't great but they said they're working on improving it.

I can see that during ski season a place like this would be perfect - closet space for coats and boots and lots of space for 4 people to spread out. Didn't really use the air con or heating, didn't need it.

Nice to have the roominess of a condo but was surprised there was no daily service. Still have not found this mentioned on their website.

Older property, needs some attention. Pool area needs work. WIFI is lousy and very limited 4G service in this area.

Thanks for your feedback about your stay at Fort Marcy. Your comments have allowed us to examine one of the flaws on our guest communication regarding our daily Housekeeping service. We do provide daily trash and towel service upon request, but we clearly failed to mention this to you, and for this I apologize. Our internet service is in the process of being upgraded to keep up with the ever changing demands of the traveling public. This will not help with your last stay but we hope you will get to take advantage of it on your next visit to Santa Fe. I understand that both AT&T and Sprint are also in the process of upgrading their network here in the downtown area so that their 4G network is more in keeping with what is standard across the country.

We stayed here this past weekend and met Damien (who is absolutely charming!) he helped us discover new places in Santa Fe to eat: El Paseo Bar & Grill was our favorite! We are locals, but are starting to discover more about Santa Fe by playing tourist. Between this great hotel and one other, we've found this to be our favorite so far. Kudos to Damien for allowing us an amazing experience, that man deserves a raise! Ask for him if you want any advice on things to do in this town.
