We had booked a 1 bedroom. We get there and after talking to Janine, we are upgraded to a 2 bedroom, due to our requests for a view and a nicer condo. There really are no 1 bedroom condos with a view (according to her). It was very nice. I will let people know that it is better to arrive before closing at 7. And before dark. We didnt have either problem, but I will say it would have been tough to find in the dark, and you could not get a different room if you are not quite satisfied with what you were originally given. It is good we did not want to use the pool or hot tub, as neither were in order or open. We had planned to go to Ten Thousand Waves for a spa experience. WE Advise! SPEND money to do a private bath with your husband, boyfriend or significant other. If you are with a group or just the girls, same thing. The spa has communal baths and a women's only bath too. WELL worth it. It is only 5 minutes away from the hotel. A private bath for both of us costed about $85 for 1 hour. They do offer other services. Loved the herbal wrap.OK, back to the condo. The only complaint we have is that the WiFi is not a good conection. We had to get on each time and put in the Fort Marcy password. It does not remember it. It was slow. Another tip, if you want maid service, it is extra. Towels and trash pick up are not extra however. We had a groupon, and for the money, it was well worth it to have a stocked kitchen if needed, and room to read, relax, play music, watch TV, whatever. Walking to the plaza is not far as much as it is just hilly and steep. If you are not in real good shape or tire easily, rethink this one! Or get shuttle service. I hear they do have one. We stayed in room 54 B for 3 nights. It was up top of a hill and had sort of a view though we were not right on the canyon. We would stay again for the price. will add photos later though i think there already are one or 2 of our condo. It would help people to know which pictures represent which rooms. I was curious myself about this so maybe a staff member could label which condo picture is which number!
