Booked last minute with online source, got great rate. Location on hill beautiful, easy access to everything. Staff were very welcoming and courteous. The room was so much more than expected for a 3 star rating. Very clean, nice decor. We loved it. Will return to this Hotel and tell our friends all about it.

Our first impression was not good. The young man at the recieving desk checked us in but did not tell us which way our room was located so we took our luggage up 4 or 5 steps by ourselves ( ages 72 and 70) found out it was another wing so drug luggage around to another wing. NOt happy at that point. The rest of the employees at the lounge, the restaurant and housekeeping were very nice. The nicest and most helpful employee we met at the front desk was Evelyn. If you go there, and she is on duty, you will meet a very lovely lady who was friendly and helped me find things to do and routes to take. We took the "High road to Taos" and enjoyed it very much because of her suggestion. I would recommend with an explanation about our experiences

OMG what a fun time I had at the Lodge. The food was great for breakfast, lunch & dinner.
"BO" was the bartender, the bar back, & table waiter the first night I was there and he never missed a step. His drinks were great & he's such a friendly guy that everyone there was commenting on him.
If you ever get to Santa Fe stay at The Lodge. But if you don't at least go by and say "Hi" to BO and have him mix you a delicious made from scratch drink.!!
Thanks,
Terry

Sometimes it's not that easy to write a review if there's nothing too contrast it with. Everything was perfect. The staff couln't do enough for you, the room was great, the food was wonderful, the pool/spa was great and did I mention the staff couldn't do enough for us. The only thing they could do better would be to transport the entire resort closer to downtown. But, then maybe you might not want to be in the middle of all that. This will be the place I come to when I return to Santa Fe.

One of the nice high lights of this our stay was when my wife and I took a swim around 9 PM in the bath temperature pool water and we gazed up at the stars while floating on our backs. What a wonderful experience! Also, the decor in the room was exquisite; it made us feel as being part of Santa Fe. The only down side about this hotel is they do not have rooms with double queen size beds. Our stay would have been enjoyed even more immensely if the two full size beds were queen beds. Even though the full size beds were comfortable, they just weren’t as roomy. I guess this is par for the course for this area since I believe almost all of the hotels around here use double beds instead of queen size beds. The hotel does offer rooms with king size beds but we needed two beds. We would definitely come and stay here again when visiting Santa Fe.

Well, all I can say is from the moment we arrived the room was not ready and then returned and had to wait again. We supposedly had the best king suite with a fireplace that wasn't worth the price. Then entered the room to find the light bulbs missing and ac off. Wow. Then the shower head did not work that had to be replaced and then the workers left footprints all the way to the bathroom. Contacted the president of this chain who replied and said he wanted to fix everything but haven't heard from him again. Real great customer service. They need some lessons from other area hotels.

Within the last few months we have been working with our housekeeping and engineering departments to update and refurbish our hotel. Our new head of housekeeping has been working with our front desk staff to have our guest rooms ready in a timely and professional manner. Within the last few weeks, we have been paying very special attention to our suites, and have revitalized them with a beautiful new décor keeping the southwestern style and adding to enchanting ambiance of the rooms. We have just added some updated photos of our improved Anasazi Suites.
