I am from Albuquerque and first stayed here a couple years ago during an extended work project. It was a home away from home and the staff was so accommodating. Have been once or twice since and then just stayed again. The casitas are perfect and the staff is consistently wonderful. It is quaint and unique and I will stay here every time i have a chance. I have stayed in Santa Fe countless times but this has been the best and is now my only choice.

We had a ground floor room of one of the small houses that make up the eclectic group of property owned by Las Palomas. It was beautifully decorated, with a fireplace and wood/kindling, a very comfortable bed, and an amply sized bathroom. The breakfasts were much better than even advertised -- hot omelettes and waffles made to order as well as breads, cereals, yoghurts and fruits on the buffet. The old town area is about a 10 minute walk from here. The price was very reasonable ($118/night), and all in all the stay was absolutely wonderful!

My stay at Las Palomas with my two daughters (2 & 6yr olds) was the best. The units we stayed in were right near the check-in offices, so we were close to breakfast, which was delicious! The office living area had games, hot chocolate, and hot apple cider, which was our night treat. In the hotel room, it felt like home because we had a small kitchenette, a modern yet very cozy living room, a large clean bathroom, and the king bed was great. All three of us fit comfortably, it was like a resort condo! The little patio served as a snowy playground for my daughters, so it was nice to know they were having fun and were safe. The fire place really made the whole experience unreal, so I fell in love with my room. Also, our relatives from Mexico would come looking for us and it was nice to have staff talk to them in Spanish, welcome them, and answer questions about the town. We ended up walking to the Plaza because it was so close. I can't stress enough what a home-like, family-friendly experience it was. I highly recommend those rooms to travelers - the ones by the check-in office.

Room Tip: I highly recommend those rooms to travelers - the ones by the check-in office.

My wife and I stayed here for a week in November. We really enjoyed it. We had a casita with a kitchen, living room, bathroom, and bedroom. Prices were very reasonable, and it is 2 blocks from the Plaza; easy walking distance. They have an excellent breakfast, with home-made omelets, waffles, and muffins, as well as fruit, cereal, juice, coffee, etc. Cookies and mulled cider are available all day. They're also unusually helpful in guiding you to events, attractions, etc. around the city. If we came back, this is definitely where we would stay.

We wandered around a picturesque trail among little adobe cottages until we found ours. It is three little rooms and a giant king sized bed. The fireplace supplied with ample split wood warms the bedroom and throws dancing shadows around the room. It was a comfortable bed and great shower in the quaint adobe accommodations We would definitely stay there again.

We came from Ct to see Santa Fe and booked our reservation at Las Palomas with the Zona room. The room looked like a private condo with a terrific fireplace and bathroom with two doors accessible from the bedroom and the living room. Towels and sheets were excellent and the furniture was nice and the mattress appeared to be new. Upon check in on Thanksgiving day Allison made us feel at home with the fresh cookies in the crock pot. Following morning we came to breakfast to find Tina who asked how are stay was going so far and took showed us seating and all the food available. Homemade eggs to order with fresh fruit, juices, breads and wonderful coffee. Big surprise was to see a local artist painting in the lobby and his work was beautiful. Next day the artist asked if our 9 year old daughter would like to sit with him and learn acrylic painting, completely unexpected and now a lifetime memory. The breakfast and cleaning staff did a terrific job and we cannot wait to go back. We met a couple that we are already corresponding with.

We just live down the road in Albuquerque, so we can go to Santa Fe for the day anytime. This time we wanted to feel like we had a little getaway and boy did Las Palomas serve that purpose well. Our room was just the right size, had just the right ambiance and amenities and the breakfast was far better than the standard hotel breakfast. They even had a local guitar/flute player and artist painting during the breakfast hours. We got home feeling like we traveled a thousand miles away.
