We stayed this December and arrived in town hungry and tired. The front desk was informative about dinner choices (go to SantaCafe!!) and our room was warm, wonderful and unique. It was so nice to see the unique decor and touches that made it a Santa Fe experience. I will be back when I can stay a few days to enjoy the city and this lovely hotel.

The complimentary breakfast is amazing, be sure to try an omelette with everything on it (and the salsa). Don't forget, the front desk offers free coffee drinks that are really great too. It's location is about a block away from where downtown Santa Fe begins, making it easy to shop and try restaurants. The room cleaning service was excellent and even came on Christmas Eve. The staff was super helpful and solved/responded to any request we had within the minute it was called in. Overall I would come here again and so should you.

Room Tip: We had a suite with three bedrooms and it was perfect for six people.

We were a big group of 5 and got one of the suites down the street from the main office. Very beautiful property and served all of our needs. Also dog friendly, which was a plus.

Pros:
- Very close to the plaza.
- Comfortable rooms, beautiful property.
- Excellent breakfast with good variety.
- Nice, pleasant staff.
- Suite was very nice, plenty of room with full kitchen and fireplace.

Cons:
- Parking free, but a little tight when busy.
- Pricey for the large suite, but within range for Sante Fe.

Based on the reviews here on tripadvisor, we selected Las Palomas for our stay in Santa Fe and couldn't be happier. Our room was in the central building near the office. Its stove is gas rather than a kiva, which is fine with us. It feels like we have our own little apartment in the heart of Santa Fe. It's very quiet, yet only a few blocks from the plaza and the center of town. There is plenty of free parking which was not the case with a more expensive hotel during a previous stay here. The breakfast is exceptional with cappuccino, espresso, chai, or hot chocolate, any type of omelet, and/or strawberry or blueberry waffles to order as well as a very extensive choice of cereal, fruit, bread (to toast), and muffins. Every evening, there is spiced hot cider and warm cookies offered at the front desk. The employees are very friendly and the entire atmostphere is very laid back and inviting. We highly recommend Las Palomas and will definitely stay here any time we visit.

We've stayed at this property 3 times during the past 2 years and always have a good experience. The hotel is close to the old Plaza...just about a 5 minute walk. At night you can walk to dozens of restaurants which is nice.
The hotel is actually a collection of 17 old buildings (some about 300 years old) that house about 70 "casitas". Each time we're stayed the accomodations were different. Some are pretty rustic! But, they are all comfortable, clean, and well maintained.
The free breakfast was delicious and my wife appreciated the gluten-free cereal, breads, fresh fruit, and cooked to order egg dishes. The warm cookies (not gluten free) and hot cider available all day are also a treat
If you stay here, you won't feel like you're in an anonymous cookie cutter motel. It'll feel more like your at your aunt's place. Not plush, but clean, comfortable, and very convenient.

With a great history, the Las Palomas is an exceptional place to lay down your head while you enjoy the beauty and relaxation that Santa Fe does so well. So comfortable and homey, this little adobe home was just what I was looking for. A hop, skip, and a jump from the plaza, and parking was a breeze. Very clean rooms (and I'm a neat freak!), with beautiful windows and wood delivered daily for your own fireplace. The kitchenette was well stocked with everything from plates and silverware to even a tea kettle. Many stays at the Las Palomas are planned for the near future. I felt right at home... Authentic ambience at it's best!

This is a great place. The Inn is a collection of lots of old homes that have been renovated and updated- but not ruined! I grew up in Santa Fe with houses like this- they are wonderful. Our room was huge, with a kitchen and a fridge and a working fireplace- how cool is that to have a fire on a chilly night! There is a great breakfast with warm and cold food, beverages always available and great staff. The grounds are beautifully decorated with Southwestern inspired sculpture. You can easily walk to the downtown area saving paying for parking! We found this by accident, but will be back. We come back to Santa Fe once a year and this is now my favorite place to stay!
