“Historic Hotel with Many Adobe Fireplaces”
Reviewed October 30, 2013

An excellent hotel, i stayed here for a conference and was unlike many Hiltons in that its small size about 150 rooms gave it more an upscale boutique hotel feel. Great history told on the walls of this property with parts dating back to the 1600's. The small size permits the staff to provide personal attention and service. As an honors member I also had access to the sophisticated and private executive lounge. The rooms looked newly renovated, large comfortable and very much in character with the historic mexican influence and feel. You will not be disappointed, but don,t come here expecting a big box Hilton with tons of meeting spaces and restaurants. The scale here is much more intimate, charming with good restaurants, meeting space, pool etc. I am keeping this on my list for a future vacation.

We enjoy staying at the Hilton in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The facility is beautiful, very elegant and inviting. The rooms are spacious, modern and extremely comfortable. The lobby and bar are especiallly warm and inviting. The conference rooms are spacious and well appointed. The pool and spa were wonderful. I would recommend this hotel for business, couples, solo, a great get away.

I spent an overnight at this Hilton and found it to be a good location and overall good choice for staying downtown for an overnight. I was up from ABQ to go to a Sunday evening concert at the Lensic. This property is literally right around the corner, and a great location to spend the evening in downtown Santa Fe. The rooms are clean, nicely decorated, and the bottom floor has direct access to the pool area. I found it to be a quiet and comfortable room. The only problem with the room was no hot water in the shower the morning I was leaving, which I told the front desk about.

I enjoyed the pool and hot tub both days I was there, and came back on Sunday evening to find a lovely outdoor fire in the pool area. I also ordered room service twice and found the food to be very good, reasonably priced.

Couple things to be aware of- I had booked an AARP rate that included a late check out (by 2 p.m.) and mentioned that when I got there. They seemed to not have that on my reservation, but noted it when I checked in. On the morning I was to check out, the maid came at 9 a.m. seeming to think I was checking out by noon. I checked again at the front desk about the late check out, which they said they did not have. So be sure you check with them to make sure you have it noted you have a late check out plan. Anything between 2-5 p.m. will include a surcharge.

They also charge for parking here, which is $8.50 if you are a guest so be prepared for that as well.

I enjoyed my time at this Hilton and will definately stay there again when I need to be spending the evening in Santa Fe!

Room Tip: Some rooms on the first floor are right next to the pool/courtyard area. If you want direct access...

We had a delightful stay for 2 nights; a very warm and helpful staff from reception to the maids. The shuttle service was very convenient but should be available until 11:00 PM. I would highly recommend this hotel; my Hilton Honors even allowed for half price parking and complimentary W--Fi

We spent a mini-honeymoon in Santa Fe at this hotel. Excellent service. Hotel staff is professional, courteous, and very helpful. Great accommodations, and great location (near the Santa Fe Plaza). We will definitely stay here on our next trip to Santa Fe!

This is a very lovely hotel just a couple blocks from the square with lots of restaurants nearby. The room was a nice size looking out on the courtyard and a large pool. Everyone was very nice and accommodating.

Room Tip: It is a long walk from lobby to rear of building. If that is a problem, ask for a closer location. T...

The rooms were very nice - comfortable and clean. Unfortunately the hotel is let down by one member of the reception staff who was more concerned about chatting to his colleagues rather than hospitality to the guests. He was rude and unhelpful. The phone in our room didn't work. The shower didn't work and they failed to repair it while we were out during the day, despite our request that they did this. When we returned to the room, we had to ask again for somebody to come and repair it which meant we could not get ready to go out until it had been fixed. On one of the days we were there, our room wasn't made up when we returned later that day despite the maid and her trolley being just up the corridor when we left the room so she knew we were out. We reported this and were told the maid would be up in five minutes. We waited over half an hour and then I had to go down to reception to ask when she would be coming as, again, we wanted to get ready to go out to dinner. Overall the service was extremely poor.
