“Great Accomodation!”
Reviewed September 27, 2013

The Eldorado is a lovely hotel with a great location giving you walking access to most of Santa Fe. Our room was very clean and comfortable - just the place for our mid-September mini vacation - we were there two nights. The staff were most pleasant and helpful especially the concierge who gave us good advice on a day trip and local spots to eat outside the hotel. The hotel restaurant - This Old House - is a favorite of ours. Excellent food and service! A great place to stay!

Room Tip: Some of the rooms are quite a distance from the elevator or stairs so if you have difficulty walking...

We stayed at the Eldorado for 2 nights in mid-late September and found the hotel very pleasant. Lobby is huge and comfortable with plenty of space for lounging. Rooms are spacious and clean though the double beds (2X) in the rooms were a bit smaller than the average full or queens in most hotels. Our group had massages at the Nidah Spa and everyone commented that the treatments were excellent. I had "Irene" as my masseuse for a deep tissue massage and I highly recommend her. Although the hotel has valet parking for 24 dollars a night with unlimited in-s and outs...we chose to park at the public parking lot was was literally across the street diagonal from the hotel which has overnight parking for about 10 bucks. If you don't mind walking across the street, we would recommend this lot. Though of course there is no in and out privileges. It's good for if you want to just park the car there for a day or two...max is 10 bucks a day. Overall...I would stay at the Eldorado again...very pleasant and warm hotel convinently located right in old town Santa Fe...walking distance to all the major sites and about a 5 minute drive from canyon road (art street).

An excellent choice for your Santa Fe visit. Located right in Old Town and convenient to shops, galleries and local sights. Spacious rooms and very large public areas. Hotel staff is very accommodating and service is excellent. Highly recommend it.

Spent four evenings at Eldorado using the restaurant and the spa during our stay. Hotel is stylish, comfortable, has the right amenities and is located in a very convenient downtown location. Priced right. What really stood out for us was the staffs responsiveness to a slight problem that surfaced. They responded quickly, were determined to make it right and overdid themselves trying to make up for the slight inconvenience we encountered. Very impressive. We would definitely recommend the Eldorado.

Room Tip: Junior Suite with veranda is the way to go. Higher floors offer wonderful views of city and mountai...

Nice big rooms, beautiful decor, comfy bed & pillows, private small pool & spa on roof made this a dreamy night of business travel.
Only negatives were smallish TV for size of room, valet pkg (I hate valet), & only expensive restaurant - part of lobby seemed to be under construction, so maybe they have something else that just wasn't open. Also, the spa closes at 6:00 so if you're a business traveler & only have one night you can't get any services.
Plus Internet was supposed to be free yet on my device AND in the Business Center it asked for a credit card so I didn't use the Internet at all.

Room Tip: The rooms are quite a hike for the elderly - so ask for a room near the elevator if you're old o...

The family and I (5 members, all adults) spent only one night here during the recent monsoons. Our visit started off well in that we were able to get adjoining rooms that we failed to ask for at reservation. The hotel is beautifully designed and furnished, appropriately for this historic city that is also an art mecca. All service was outstanding. Two of us experienced altitude problems and were advised of and furnished with O2 gratis. Thanks, Isaac. One of the hotel's best selling points is that it is so near virtually everything downtown. We took the Rail Runner Express from and back to Albuquerque; the station is conveniently near the hotel, and shuttle service was very good. We fully understand how the Eldorado got its national ratings. Again? You bet!

Room Tip: Our rooms (4th floor) and hallways were very quiet; elevators were always ready and fast. Upper roo...

My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend. The hotel was very nice and well kept. Our room was clean and spacious. We were very close to the square and was able to easily walk around the town. The air in our room didn't seem to be working properly so we had trouble getting a good temperature in our room. We also disliked that we had to pay extra per day for parking.
