Sleeping rooms are comfortable and staff are friendly. Helps that they provide an hourly shuttle to the square, but it's also not that long a walk to the town square. Only negatives are wifi access (slow to non-existent) and housekeeping throwing out things that were not garbage.

Room Tip: Choose a ground floor level to be near your car for easier loading and unload.

Stayed here one night (lone female traveler). Motel was clean, safe, and friendly. First room I checked into smelled of cigarette smoke but the front desk was quick to change my room. Enjoyed the quick and easy shuttle service to/from downtown plaza area. Lots of sights within walking distance of shuttle stop. Microwave and fridge in the room was nice, as was the free wifi. Beds could have been better. Overall, nice motel for the price. Would stay again.

Great location, within walking distance of the Plaza, the Railyard, and many amenities. Right around the corner from Whole Foods, and a short distance to several good restaurants. We've stayed here before, and will likely stay here again.

I usually don't stay at any other hotel if a Marriott is available, but the President of the Santa Fe Rodeo mentioned that they've been a valued sponsor of the Rodeo, so I decided to give it a try; glad I did, it was really nice.

My wife and I found it charming, comfortable and the decor was in the best way, "Santa Fean". It really made me rethink the chain hotel mentality and start thinking about taking advantage of these type of local lodgings that depict the heart of a city as prominent as Santa Fe.

Good job Santa Fe Sage Inn, we'll see you on our next trip.....

Room Tip: We didn't take advantage of any of the food or room service, but it's quite and close to eve...

There is literally nothing to compare in this price bracket. You literally are hard pressed to find a nicer experience anywhere in the US for this price category anywhere in the US let alone a tourist town like Santa Fe. Everything was a step above from people to facilities to rooms to even the restroom in the lobby was spic and span the two times i used it. They go overboard in providing best of class service. I wish they would multiply their model across the country. Even the gym treadmills were top of the line commercial grade and brand new which is not common. Wifi will log you out after a while but was good and reliable. :)

My only criticism is that there were three of us in the room and at 9;00 am two of us had cold water to shower with. By cold I don't mean freezing but it certainly wasn't toasty warm. Aside from this the room was comfortable, clean, and for the price conveniently close to the plaza, if you don't mind walking five or six blocks, I would not hesitate to stay here again provided the cold shower issue was temporary.

Room Tip: Room 105 had a limited amount of warm water.

Thank you for posting this review. I am so glad you enjoyed your stay with us. Please allow me to apologize for the issues you had with the hot water. This will certainly be something I will discuss with our Chief Engineer so that we can make sure that all of our guests have an adequate amount of hot water. I would ask you to most definitely give us another try and I am sure we will meet all of your expectations.
