Newly opened, the Bourbon Grill at El Gancho still needs a few finishing touches. The staff are all eager to please, but poorly trained. Our waiter failed to notice that there was no silverware at our table, for example, and used plates were not cleared while we were at the buffet.
That said, the food was very good. The Sunday brunch is only $19.95 and includes a glass of champagne or a mimosa. The buffet selections were wide and included shrimp, crab, a roast carving station and an omelet station as well as the traditional breakfast choices. The selection of desserts was not so impressive, offering only cheesecake and/or chocolate mousse.
