My wife and I stayed at the Inn for six nights. It's located right on the edge from the main downtown area (it was a quick and easy walk along a few blocks from the Inn to the plaza in front of the Palace of the Governors). The staff at the Inn are incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast served every morning was delicious. The accommodations were very comfortable. The free parking was so convenient. We liked everything about the place.

After our stay, I realized that I left my sandals behind. We contacted them to see if they were still there and that we would pay to mail them back. They shipped them back to us at no charge.

Whenever we get back to Santa Fe, we will definitely try to stay there again!

This inn is a pleasant walk into the town square .Rooms are clean and a well sized and there is a very comfortable ambience to the layout. Rooms on the street side can be a little noisy with the window open. Across the road is a very pleasant walk up to the old fort and lookout with some interesting historical plaques to read along the way.If travelling to the airport from the inn be prepared to pay at least $50 US for the fare, quite expensive. Also be advised that if checking in after 6.00pm reception is unattended, and you are required to make a phone all to obtain an access code. This is awkward if you don't have an American phone.

Hello and thank you for your review.
We are a very small, family owned bed and breakfast and unlike a large hotel, we are unable to staff our desk 24 hours a day like a large hotel might be able to. We make every effort to ensure that our late arrival guests have the ability to get into their room and unfortunately, the easiest way to ensure this is via phone call to give the access codes to our lockbox. We apologize sincerely for any inconvenience and hope that you can understand our position from a business standpoint. Best wishes for your future travels and take care.

When shopping for accommodations in Santa Fe, we were hooked by the images and descriptions online of this lovely small Inn. When we arrived, we found everything to be just as described, even more so. The Inn was tastefully decorated and immaculately clean, with pretty common areas and spacious, well-maintained rooms. Located an easy walk from the plaza and Canyon Road, it was convenient to all the more popular Santa Fe locations. Jess was managing the property, and his recommendations for dining and activity options proved spot-on. Breakfast was a treat, with hearty, made-to-order waffles as well as the more traditional B&B fare. Overall, a great place to stay. During our stay we learned that the Inn was in the process of changing ownership -- hopefully the new owners will continue to operate the facility in the same manner as when we stayed!

I was lucky to find this inn on Trip Advisor before coming to Santa Fe. We stayed 2 nights in May, and I guess it had just been bought by new owners. Well I couldn't see any issues with the management or the hotel because of the change. In fact, the hotel is beautiful, the room we stayed in was perfect, well decorated and the bed was super comfy. Breakfast consisted of a variety of baked goods freshly made, fruit, other items and homemade waffles.

The only thing I will say is that the place has a long history and the building is older, so you can hear the floor boards creak above you and the water running in other rooms around the hotel. This doesn't bother me much but if you are a really light sleeper who is planning on sleeping in you may want to bring ear plugs.

Other than that the room and stay was great and thanks to Jess for all his help in our restaurant selections!

Greetings and thank for taking the time to provide such a thorough and thoughtful review of our new Inn. I agree that our historic building has a lot of character-- and some of that character is a bit noisy! We hope to see you again soon so you can witness some of our changes and upgrades.

Take care and happy travels,

From the moment we walked in, we knew we had found a gem. Jess greeted us by name, even though we hadn't told him, he was expecting us, walked us to our room and showed us around. This lovely inn is decorated in an understated Southwestern theme and is bright and cheerful. The room was great for two and had entrances, one from the Paseo and the other from the interior of the Inn with double bolts on both for added security. The window had a blackout blind and it was nice to have natural light in the room. Pillows were feather, not my favorite, but there were four of them so we cold stack them up to get comfortable. The bed was a queen and didn't overpower the room. Bathroom was aged but clean and everything worked well. Full sized hair dryer, lotion, soap, shampoo and conditioner were included and were great quality. We enjoyed being able to walk out our front door to the lane and even had a patio with chairs to just relax. In fact, the Inn is filled with nooks and crannies inside and out for quiet relaxation. From the umbrella tables on the deck to the small patios at the front and side of the property and living area to the bright clean breakfast area, you never had to look far to find a place to enjoy a glass of wine ( we brought our own and they happily provided a wine opener and wine glasses) , eat a freshly baked cookie or just plan your day.

Breakfast is included with your room and was a delightful mix of healthy choices and small indulgences. We enjoyed fresh fruit daily, yogurt, and piping hot waffles served with melted butter. Scones were baked one morning and even had clotted cream available! Coffee and tea were always accessible and cookies were brought out to chase away those afternoon tummy rumbles.

A short walk takes you to the plaza and many restaurants are also within walking distance. This is a great benefit as Santa Fe has limited parking. We were allowed to leave our car after we checked out so we could continue to wander the streets without worrying about parking.

As my husband said many times on the trip, "this is perfect". Thanks, Jess and Pete for a great stay!

Hello!

Thank you for your lovely review of the Inn-- we appreciate the comprehensive descriptions for future guests and are so pleased that you had an enjoyable stay. I made the scones that morning and 'sampled' far too many of the leftovers myself once breakfast had finished- I'm delighted that you enjoyed them! Thank you again for your comments and we hope we get a chance to offer an even better experience the next time you come to Santa Fe.

Take care,
Rebecca Martinson

Spent a lovely week here. The staff are pleasant and efficient. Our room, in the back, was quiet and had direct access to a balcony with easy chairs and tables. There is ample parking on-site. The Inn is located about three blocks from the plaza and downtown, so easy walking distance to avoid downtown parking hassles if you are spending time there. Breakfast was great with wonderful Belgian waffles and much more. Also, at breakfast, we were able to meet interesting guests, and shared information on trips in and around Santa Fe. Coffee and tea available in the lobby all day. Free newspaper, games and reading materials available. Bed was comfortable and in-room amenities were as expected.

Room Tip: Rooms in the back are quieter.

We felt lucky to find this B&B just blocks from the historic plaza. We parked the car out back & just walked to sites. Jeff's breakfasts offered a variety of fresh fruit, cereals, yoghurt, just baked muffins, juices & homemade fruit waffles. Be prepared to linger with other guests & Jeff. You'll get helpful advice on local restaurants and museums.
The room was immaculate, pretty, with good wifi & AC. The room was not overly large, but certainly spacious enough for our needs & fine when considered with the common rooms. The common spaces were lovely & comfortable inside & out (a large back deck with tables). The Inn offers a free shuttle to & from the downtown, another thoughtful convenience.
