“Loved the ambiance”

We couldn't have been happier with our decision to stay at El Farolito for our first visit to Santa Fe. It's small, intimate, and wonderful! We stayed in the suite which was extremely comfortable and it was immediately obvious how much care went into the decor, from the fabrics, rugs and original paintings to the dressers and armoires made by a local artisan. The breakfast room (terrific breakfasts!) and living room in the main building are lovely. Very comfy, beautifully decorated, a library icluding guide books related to the area as well as novels, and more original artwork. The owners, Wayne and Walt, and innkeeper Dana are very knowledgable about the area and couldn't have been more helpful. We will definately stay there again.

El Farolita was a fabulous place to stay for a long weekend in santa Fe. the owners and inkeepers are personable and knowledgeable and the inn charming. Our room was comfortable with all the amenities, and even had a beautiful painting, Wayne and Walt have a great art collection that is displayed in both inns. they own the 4 Kachinas also. they have a a very nice spread for breakfast and snacks out late afternoon. You are in walking distance of town.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at El Farolito. The rooms are nicely decorated with a local authentic Santa Fe decor and were stocked with complimentary water bottles in the frig as well as coffee and tea. Breakfasts were continental style and included a variety of tasty items such as fresh fruit, fresh granola, various baked goods, breads for toasts, potatoes, oatmeal, etc. The charming dining room and adjoining patio with waterfall created the perfect ambience. Innkeeper, Dana, is a wonderful hostess and very helpful with information about the local area and restaurants.

My wife and I were at El Farolito from Friday June 10 through Tuesday June 14, staying one night in Casita Garcia and three nights in the suite. The accommodations and service were excellent. Both the weekday manager and the co-owner, who works the weekends, were friendly and extremely helpful with suggestions for interesting things to do and in getting us restaurant reservations. We would return in a heartbeat. Although the choice is close, I think we preferred Casita Garcia because it has its own private patio.

We had one night to spend in Santa Fe and we are so glad that we chose to stay at the El Farolito. The Degaldo suite with its western decor was the perfect way to get a taste of the southwest. The whole B&B was immaculate and decorated beautifully. The breakfast was delicious and we even asked for a recipe. Wayne the innkeeper was friendly and informative and steered us in the right direction for sights and shopping.

Everytime my girlfriend and I travel to Santa Fe, we always stay at the El Farolito. We love Santa Fe, first of all, for its shopping, culture, and margaritas! It is a great place for a "girl trip" and a chance for us to catch up. El Farolito provides a great, comfortable, central location. We always take the Casita Peralta-- a lovely room with two queens-- and plenty of local artwork. This latest visit we saw that some comfortable chairs had been added. The innkeepers are excellent! Friendly without being fawning, they are very willing to share their knowledge of the area, and are also willing to listen to our experiences so that they can be better informed. The breakfasts are just perfect-- fresh fruit, freshly baked goodies, cereal, yogurt, and hot drinks. The final touch of service was when they arranged to have our boarding passes printed off for us, which is something only the big hotels are usually able to do. We had to go to their second property to collect, but it was a kind gesture on their part that added to our relaxation for the final day in Santa Fe. Yes! We will return!

This charming little Inn certainly made our first visit to New Mexico a memorable one! The accomodations were spectacular, the breakfast delicious and the staff was extremely knowledgeable of where to go and what to do. We would highly recommend El Farolito and will be sure to return on our next vist to Santa Fe.
