It will be difficult to write everything that I loved about this B&B in a paragraph. If you decide to stay anywhere else in Santa Fe you will be very disappointed. The owner and manager are over the top with hospitality. The rooms are quiet, Kiva fireplace is cozy, beds are from heaven above! We walked to everything we wanted to explore in town. Bottom line, I really don't want to leave this place! If you choose a different place to stay in town, well you have be warned and I don't want to say I told you so.

This was a charming B&B in a great location a few minutes walk from the historic downtown area. The room was very nice and comfortable and the bed extremely comfortable. The kiva fireplace was a really nice touch. We stayed two nights and the breakfast both days was OK but not what we we expected from some of the other reviews. The only real problem we had was that the walls are very thin with no sound proofing. The couple in the neighboring room came in at 10:30 and held a normal conversation with the tv on for a couple of hours. We could literally hear part of what they were saying and could not fall asleep until they did. Thankfully they checked out the first night so the second night was blissfully silent. Not sure we would stay here again as my wife is very sound sensitive.

Room Tip: We were told that room #4 had no adjoining units so it would be quieter.

You never really know how a place will feel until you get there and experience the intangibles. El Farolito was wonderfully warm and comfortable in feel, with a friendly innkeeper and perfectionist owners who are very engaged in creating a great experience for each guest. Mom and I stayed for four nights and loved our room. Larger than we expected, it has hand painted trim and quality furniture and linens.

Sheree and Wayne (one of the owners) were friendly and extremely knowledgable and helpful. We enjoyed ourselves immensely and would love to return someday.

My husband and I just returned from four days in wonderful Santa Fe, NM. Part of what made this trip so wonderful was our inn, El Farolito. The decor is lovely and comfortable; the kiva fireplace is such a treat on the cold winter nights; the gourmet breakfasts are scrumptious; the location is great, and Wayne and his staff are so knowledgeable and helpful. We felt very much at home in Casita Delgado. If we are ever again in Santa Fe, we will stay at El Farolito.

There is a very good reason El Faralito has made it to the Select Registry. As other reviewers have stated, this is easily one of the most excellent B&Bs at which we've ever stayed. Adventurous sorts, we travel the US staying in B&Bs of every variety, each with their own charm (and some without...). If you love the American SW as we do, the adobe architecture of El Faralito will win your heart at first sight.

We stayed in the Santa Fe suite -- with a full bath, a king bed, fireplace, a separate sitting room, log beam ceilings, and luxurious, embracing decor, we couldn't have been happier with the choice.

The care and attention from the owners and staff was familial at its best -- thanks Walt, Wayne, and Cherie! The breakfasts were fantastic. The museums, restaurants, and shops of downtown are just a short walk away. You will adore this place!

We can't wait for our next visit :-)
