“Outstanding”

We stayed at El Farolito B&B for one night. Accomodations were excellent. Had previously booked a queen room but they had a king available so they switched us. Beautiful room, very southwest, great art , dining room and sitting area were really nicely decorated and comfortable. Very quite at night. Breakfast was awesome. Hostess and housekeeping very nice and very sociable and made our stay OUTSTANDING. Would highly recommend.

We visited El Farolito Bed and breakfast inn because they offered a Veterans Day stay for myself and my fiance. It was such a beautiful experience. The breakfast was delicious and the room was wonderful. Our room included a kiva fire place and a private patio. The service at the inn was superb. We will, without a doubt, return for another vacation, not only because they honor and appreciate their veterans, but because they offer such a memorable experience. The plaza is a short walk away and offers the perfect location for a perfect Santa Fe experience.

The El Farolito may be our favorite B&B. We loved having a separate casita( #3 - Casita Acequia Madre). Gave us a ton of privacy. Loved having the wood burning fireplace/kiva. added nice pinon smell.

convenient to the square and Canyon road (unless you don't want to walk for 10 minutes or so).

breakfast was very good.

staff were pleasant.

we recommend highly. can't wait to get back.

I just got back from a fantastic trip to New Mexico. El Farolito was only a 10 minute walk from the plaza and about 20 from Canyon Road. Great way to walk off all the delicious food we ate. I recommend a room with an outdoor courtyard. Peralta #2 had a courtyard, kiva fireplace-great for those chilly nights and a wet bar perfect for the bottles of wine we bought from local vineyards. The hot breakfast was delicious each morning. My personal favorite was the pulled pork enchilada. Hot pots of local pinon coffee awaited us along with 3 choices of juice. Sheri and Walt were amazing hosts and I would definitely stay here again.

El Farolito is a gem of a B & B located within a few easy walking blocks off the plaza. The rooms are private -- many with their own courtyards -- comfortable and nicely appointed. We had our own kiva with logs ready to light; the wood was replenished each day of our stay (3 nights). The breakfasts were scrumptious with fresh baked goods, hot entree, yogurt, cereal selection, fresh juices and fresh fruit plate. A selection of coffees and teas also offered. What really makes a B & B such a unique experience are the innkeepers and staff. Wayne is a professional: he welcomed us every morning and after introducing the day's breakfast selection, he would give us the run down on what was happening in Santa Fe that day. We engaged him several times about restaurants, shopping, and even real estate and he guided us well. Cherie, an assistant, was exuberant and very helpful -- she gave us a thorough tour of the inn at check-in and helped us orient ourselves. I look forward to returning to this property ASAP!

Room Tip: We stayed in the Galisteo Room, which has a King Bed and sitting area.

Our stay at the El Farolito was just perfect, in every way! Wayne was very friendly and made us feel at home. Cherie is an angel! She went above and beyond!
The Inn really is in an ideal location - walking distance to just about anywhere. The little adobe fireplaces are a nice touch - they had it stocked w/ wood every evening when we returned to our room. The breakfasts are amazing, great coffee. The rooms are super clean...like I said, perfect in every way!

It lived up to its high reputation on Trip Advisor and then went on to exceed it!

Super room, excellent breakfast in a lovely and relaxed dining room. Cherie helped us find everything we wanted and gave us great advice on where to eat. Super place, super welcome, I hope we can return.
