Arrived at the B & B and no one is there is welcome you. Didn't know how to get to our room, and saw a phone number of the door. Called and got Voice mail. Finally got a call back and was told where our room was. It was across the street. I had my elderly mom along, and it was dark until we got into the yard. When we got to the room, didn't look like any of the pics. Had to call again and got voicemail again!!! Finally got a call and we told them it was unacceptable. They promised to refund our money, but we had to dispute a charge with the cc company. Emailed them and never got a response. Very poor customer service. We stay in B&B's because of the personal service, you definately dont get personal service at this B & B.

We stayed 4 night in Casita Ristras. So comfortable and convenient, and just beautiful! This was my third stay with them and they get better each time. Breakfast were fresh and delicious. Our hostess was tremendously helpful and truly gracious. If visiting Santa Fe, definitely check them out.

My wife and I wanted a cozy and romantic Santa Fe weekend, and the Adobe Abode was the perfect place, just a few blocks off the Plaza. yet our private, gated patio felt very quiet and secluded. The Bronco Suite is tucked away behind the main house with its own private entrance and gated patio, and it felt very quiet and secluded. The king-sized bed was wonderfully comfortable and the deep soaking tub and shower was a bonus. Our hostess, Nelly, was so warm and welcoming, and she prepared delicious breakfasts each morning, complete with scrumptious tamale-egg dishes, homemade muffins, fruit and coffee. Our next trip to Santa Fe will definitely land us back at the Adobe Abode.

The main house for breakfast and gathering is visually rich with color, comfort and objects of all sorts. Sherry, cookies and mints are a nice touch. That was our first impression. THEN....came the search for our room which in the 20 degree, whipping wind weather was an hour long struggle. The provided map was so bad. Even after finding our room, we groaned over the map.
So, we called, left a message and received a call back within 10 minutes. Upon arrival in our room, it was warm, comfy, everything we needed really. (a couple of plush sitting chairs would have been nice, but really no room.) Our hostess in the morning was pure delight. Nelly Joy is a warm, embracing artist. She is beautiful which is always nice, dresses with a simple lovely flair, and her food was perfection. She is full of information about Santa Fe. She is gift. Lucky us to have her come from Burundi. She is becoming full owner - and I can only imagine that the Adobe Abode will become THE destination in Santa Fe.

Have stayed at Adobe Abode several times in the past--it's location is the most convienent to the Plaza. This was a very pleasant stay, the Bronco seemed more refreshing and inviting than on our previous visits. Something new has been done!

Room Tip: larger than the other rooms, makes it nice for a longer stay

I wanted to stay downtown but didn't want to pay "downtown" prices. This place was perfect. This is our 2nd year back. We upgraded to the Black Mesa this time. This room was nice and very comfortable. Bathroom was clean and updated. Huge bed with a romantic touch! Perfectly located. We walked to downtown to have dinner and shopped. Located just behind the El Dorado Hotel. The property owners are always helpful and kind.

I've stayed in the house catty corner across on Mackenzie twice in the past...its run by the same group. In comparison, this house was darker, a bit scruffier with a much smaller room and a heater that was not adequate for the cold mornings. The breakfast was good and the hostess (seen only in the am) was quite charming. The location couldn't be better, easy walking to the Plaza, Canyon Road and museums. Hope they pick up there game a notch or two as it was always a great stay in the past.
