I have to admit I was worried I might be too intimidated to enjoy a painting class. I was SO WRONG. It was one of the most enjoyable experiences I've had in 20 years of visiting Santa Fe.
Robbi is a kind, encouraging teacher and the class setting in her cute little adobe studio is a must for anyone wanting to immerse themselves in a fun Santa Fe experience.
In my class, there was an Auntie from Idaho who brought her two nieces and a family of three from Texas, including a young woman celebrating her 30th birthday. The people in the class were all convivial, and as much as all of us said we didn't have any art experience or talent, I marveled at the difference and creativity that each of us was capable of, thanks to Robbi.
I was so impressed, when Robbi said she was planning on creating online classes, I found myself shopping online for supplies. She's launching those later, but know that for me to want to take an art class says so much for the kind of teacher Robbi is.
I don't care how not-artsy you think you are, your two hours with Robbi will be two of the best hours you spend in Santa Fe.
