Las Brisas de Santa Fe
Reviewed November 15, 2010

What an amazing place Las Brisas was for our stay in Santa Fe. We were there for a week, and felt so at home returning to our two-bedroom condo every night after exploring Santa Fe and the surrounding area.

We arrived just after closing time, but the woman at the reception desk was more than happy to check us in, explain the features of the condos and property, as well as talk about the surrounding area. She never once rushed us. It was a very welcoming start to our weeklong vacation.

We entered the condo for the first time and our jaws dropped. There was an indoor atrium with a large window ceiling, allowing a lot of natural light in. The living room, dining room, and kitchen were very spacious, too. There was plenty of seating for a large crowd. The upstairs loft/master bedroom (with French doors) was A M A Z I N G. It featured a king-sized bed, dresser, nightstands, a desk, TV, closet, and fireplace and yet it still remained very spacious! It was a huge room. From there, you entered through another set of French doors to a very large bathroom that featured a raised bathtub/shower/jacuzzi (with steps leading up) and even a closet that concealed the stacked washer and dryer.

Needless to say, we fell in love with our unit; it was so spacious, beautifully maintained and decorated, and provided the perfect home-away-from-home. We also loved its location, being so close to downtown. We could just walk a few blocks and were right in the middle of downtown Santa Fe where shops and restaurants awaited us around the Plaza. Not only was it convenient, but it saved us money on the somewhat costly parking at metered or parking garage spaces.

It wasn't too close to downtown, though, where we could hear the goings-on throughout the night. Las Brisas is located in a residential area, and it was SO quiet there. We had fantastic nights of sleep!

I'd recommend Las Brisas to anyone visiting Santa Fe.

Great place to stay while enjoying Santa Fe. Room to gather with friends yet have separate bedroom space for privacy. Full kitchen gives you the option of eating in.
This was our second time to utilize a Las Brisas condo. Enjoyed our stay both times.

We stayed at Las Brisas for a month while awaiting the birth of our grandson--our third stay at Las Brisas. The location is great, just a few blocks from the Capitol and convenient to Plaza and downtown. Outside, it is classic Santa Fe style, inside artistically decorated with New Mexican art. Full kitchen well equipped with dishes, pots and pans, patios front and back as well as a deck on the second floor of our unit. We jogged to the parks, walked to many restaurants, museums and galleries. If you are interested in cooking for yourself and/or enjoy having room to spread out, Las Brisas is a great choice. We truly felt at home.

This is a lovely condo style unit located in easy walking distance of the downtown square with free parking and out of the noise and bustle. It is two stories, with huge pullout sofa in spacious living room downstairs, with full kitchen bath and laundry facility downstairs. Upstairs is another bath with master bedroom. A sweet patio with table and four chairs is outside. There is no maid service during the week unless you pay extra but extra towels can be had. The units are superbly maintained with typical Santa Fe architecture and furnishing. We loved our week here and will happily return.

Las Brisas De Santa Fe is a lovely condominium located a short distance from downtown Santa Fe. It is not a resort. There is no pool, internet or scheduled activities. However, if you want to enjoy the Santa Fe area, it is a very nice place to stay. Our one bedroom condo was nicely decorated in the Southwestern style consistent with the Pueblo construction. The kitchen was better stocked than ma;ny condos and the appliance were Jenaire. There was a lovely courtyard with table and four chairs, you could eat outdoors if you chose. If you are looking for a quiet place to enjoy Santa Fe, this could be the place for you. I would reccomend the Cafe Paris on Burro Lane if you want a non Tex Mex meal. The Pizza restaurant on the top of the building across from the Water Street parking garage between Shelby and Don Gaspar streets had terrific pizza. Another interesting restaurant was Los Mayas, off Guadalupe St. behind the Hilton. However, make sure you have cash, their credit card machine did not work the evening we were there. Fortunately, there is an ATM machine nearby. Los Mayas had a duo playing guitar and bass and singing in both Mexican and English. There is a small dance floor. We had an excellent time.
