Casa Pacifica Bed and Breakfast

This was our second time staying at Casa Pacifica. It is dog friendly, in the Railyard District, and within walking distance to the plaza. It feels like home; very comfortable and private. We had the Corner Suite which had plenty of room for the two of us and our dog. Linda was very accommodating to our needs, is a wonderful cook, and a gracious hostess. We loved our four day stay in Santa Fe and will stay in Casa Pacifica every time.

On our recent stay before Memorial Day, my wife and I looked forward to a new experience at a Santa Fe B&B. My wife is gluten and dairy intolerant and we were glad that Casa Pacifica mentioned they could make accomodation for dietary needs. We mentioned the special diet when we made the reservation months previous and again a week before our stay. We were very surprised when we were notified by text early in the morning that breakfast would not be available due to the allergy concerns. While we were compensated for not having breakfast, that did not make up for our disappointment. We have stayed at other B&Bs that did not have a problem fulfilling this request. While we enjoyed our room, next time we will stay somewhere else.

This place was recommended by a friend who lives there. It was great! Very spacious, cute, comfortable and located right by farmers market, art market, art exhibits and good food. Great breakfasts on a nice patio! I will be back!

We stayed two nights at Casa Pacifica and found the location to be exactly what we were looking for. The owner made us feel comfortable, offered assistance whenever needed, and made fabulous breakfasts for us. The room was relatively large, and ours had a small private outside area. A special bonus was the steam room, quite a luxury, which we truly enjoyed as evenings and mornings were cold especially to our FL acclimated bodies. It is right nearby everything we wanted to do, and although we had a car, we didn't even use it. There is also a nice common area with tables and chairs outside the dining area so people can eat inside or outside. Also people can use the area to relax and just visit. It was quiet, and we had a room right along the street, so I guess it's a relatively quiet neighborhood.

We moved from Santa Fe two years ago and went back a week ago to see old friends. I chose Casa Pacifica because of the price and location, both of which were excellent. The bonus was the large, quiet (even though it was on the street side), beautifully-decorated room, and the large and delicious breakfasts. Oh...I have to mention the steam shower in the room. No better way to unwind after a hectic day. Linda is a warm, friendly host, and her various critters (Tucson talk for dogs) were a treat. We will be going back to our previous home town from time to time, and I expect thar Casa Pacifica will be our home while we're there.

Room Tip: Just around the corner from the Railyard and its restaurants; a long-ish walk to the Plaza (which ca...

Santa Fe is one of my favorite getaways. This trip in particular I brought my parents who have never been to Santa Fe along with my husband and one-year old son so we needed a large space. For that reason, we rented the In-Laws Suite at Casa Pacifica (two bedrooms with an attached living room and kitchen). Upon arrival, we could tell that things weren't very organized. No one was there to greet us or show us to our room, however, our room was unlocked and we just decided to let ourselves in. Once we got a hold of LInda, she gave us a quick tour. The rooms were in fact a great size and shared a large kitchen. One thing you don't find out online is that there is no central heat and air. This is not atypical for New Mexico but the only heat source was a fireplace. Freezing tempatures at night with a one-year old baby was very stressful. If I knew there would not be an adequate heat source, I would not have booked the rooms. The rooms ended up getting warm at night, however, the living room never warmed up enough for us to all spend family time.

All that aside, the stay would have been fine, however, the general cleanliness of the rooms were lacking. I think the grossest thing was that there was dog pee on the walls in the living room! Also, the lighting through out the rooms and living room was very poor making it feel dirty as well. A good thorough cleaning was definitely needed.

The breakfast was nice, though the kitchen/dining area was cluttered and once again felt dirty.

As visitors from Houston, TX Casa Pacifica was our only choice to stay. It is the best, lovely suites, gay friendly, dog friendly, gracious host and close to everything. Most rooms are suits with full kitchens - you do not feel like you are in a motel - home away from home - and the owner, Linda, makes you the best breakfast in Santa Fe. She is a sweetie pie.
Once we moved to Santa Fe, we now invite our relative and friends to stay at Casa Pacifica - they love it! Couple of blocks from the Rail Yard district where there is the Rail Runner Train Depot and the Farmers market. The Historic Plaza is just a little further down the street..
Looking for a place to throw a party? Casa Pacifica is perfect. We had a 70th birthday party for 70 in March. We rented the Original Living Room Suite and used the lovely large tree covered interior patio for bar and live music; the buffet dinner was served from the breakfast kitchen and suit. Next visit to Santa Fe, call Linda 505 982 2078.

Room Tip: Check with Linda, she will advise the best suite for your needs. Suites with private patio; perfect...
