Amy is an amazing cook. I am a somewhat fussy breakfast person, but had an extra helping of her special spinach/ green chili enchiladas! Her fresh fruit was the tastiest, and the blue corn muffins outstanding. Also great granola w/ yogurt, fresh breads and orange juice. I liked the buffet style since you can pick exactly as much as you care to eat..I'm also not a big eater, so often b & b food is too much for me and I feel bad about the waste. However, after this delicious repast, no need for lunch for me! The guests edged up breakfast time a bit since it was Indian Market and those of us attending wished for an early departure.
We did have the twin room, which was fine for one night. and Amy had made an exception to her two-night requirement, so I was certainly not complaining. The shower was a little tricky-long wait for hot water-but everything was spic and span. Better reading lights would be my only suggestion, but this seems to be my one common complaint at many very nice b & bs.
Upon reading another review, I would reply that if Amy seemed a little detached, I believe she may just be tired. Over 10 years as a B & B host is taxing for anyone! This inn is for sale and hosts after Amy will have a hard act to follow!More
