I was disappointed. The last time we visited, the food was good and we enjoyed the beers, although the service was a bit slow. This time the hostess was, well, snotty. We were uncertain how big our group was to be and asked if we could get a large table. She refused and said they would not seat us until all of our party had arrived. Ok, that was fine the rest could get another table if they came later. We would just take a table for the four of us present. We asked if we could sit at the picnic table on the patio and she said they were not seating the patio right now. There were several tables occupied on the (covered) patio, though it was drizzling on and off. We pointed out the other tables that were occupied and she said they wouldn't seat us out there because it was wet. We said we did not mind, but she said no. We said fine, we would take whatever table she had for four people. We then proceeded to wait and wait and wait. We could see empty tables. We ended up leaving and eating elsewhere.

Thank Hampton I

Enjoyed some great microbrews here, as well as some chile cheese fries and nachos. Sat at the outdoor tables; very relaxing. Service was great.

My husband brews his own beer so every time we visit a city we look for the micro breweries. My husband found 2nd Street Brewery which had a good lunch menu and some good beers. We had the fish and chips recommended by our waiter. The fish and chips were great, but the cole slaw came in a small condiment container - we would have liked more. There were not a lot of beer choices since they were out of two beers. We did have a wheat which was a good choice with the fish. We sat outside, but we could smell the smoke from the forest fires. The cool air was refreshing, however, after a day of driving in our RV,

We have been to Second Street Brewery 3 times when we have visited Santa Fe.....2 times in this last trip. What a great place. The food is excellent, beer great and service so good and friendly. My husband and I would highly recommend this place to anyone going to Santa Fe.

On the last day of school, a group of teachers got together at Second Street at the Railyard. They have good beer, average food, and a great location. The service, however, was terrible. We weren't there for very long before our server stopped asking us if we wanted more drinks or food, and brought over the check without us asking for us. She then removed our menus and ignored us for over an hour. If that doesn't tell your customers that you don't value their business and you just want them to leave, I don't know what does. (BTW, we weren't being loud or obnoxious or anything.)
