Four of us were visiting Santa Fe for the first time. We wanted to try a local brew pub. It is hard to find a place to park. Food ordered by our group was a buffalo burger, spicy sausage with sauerkraut, chicken pot pie and tomato basil soup. Food was good and came quickly. Beer was good. Service was good. The place was quite busy for a Monday evening. I would eat here again. Just wish the parking was better. There is a public lot not far away, but you have to pay.

Tucked back on second street right by the rail tracks sits a nice little brewery with some very good sandwiches. We tried the sampler flight of beers and while there were several good offerings, the favorite was Ro's Best Bitter. Don't let the name fool you - smooth beer with a tangy finish.

For dinner we had the Pastrami Reuben and the Smoked Ham and Swiss. The Reuben was generous with the Pastrami and the house fermented sauerkraut was excellent - good sandwich, The Ham and Swiss would normally be a standard sandwich, but this was THE BEST Ham and Swiss I have ever had. Perfectly smoked ham, green chile mustard and pickled red onions were a dynamite combo - worth the trip just for this sandwich.

The location is unique and hard to find, but make the effort to get there. The staff is friendly, the food is great, and the beer is...beer - what more needs to be said about beer? Seriously though - lots of options on tap, so try the sampler and then have a pint of your favorite...as long as you have a safe way home!

Best in the warm months when you can sit on the deck, listen to live music, watch the train go by and sip frosty pints of good beer and eat solid brewery food. The weekend BBQ specials are usually worth trying. The wings are spicy, saucy, and huge. Service is great and parking down the train tracks is a hassle, but you'll need the exercise when you leave.

The beer at this establishment is certainly fine. The food, however, is only okay. The place feels old and dark. The railrunner passing at intervals can really be a distraction when performaers are playing while all the windows and doors are open for ventilation.

This was a place we stumbled on - near the Rail Runner Station. The selection of beers was fantastic. But the food was surprisingly excellent. The diners had blue-corn crusted trout, the succulent small order of ribs and the huge meal-sized salads. We cleaned our plates and everyone was thrilled with the food and attentive service. It's easy on the budget too. A beer and average entree is less than $20. In Santa Fe - that constitutes a bargain.
