We have enjoyed many memorable breakfasts here while on the way to another destination. This trip, we stayed the night at La Fonda (definitely recommended), and enjoyed not only breakfast, but also dinner. What a treat! It was an excellent meal in a beautiful setting. Our server for dinner, Stormie, made it wonderful.

We had an early dinner before heading to the opera. The restaurant is indoors but feels like an outdoor courtyard with lovely decorations. Service is prompt and friendly but very professional. The squash blossoms filled with goat cheese shouldn't be missed, and we enjoyed the fajitas as well.

La Fonda encourage Locals to visit their wonderful restaurant by giving a free entre to celebrate their birthdays. My husband had his birthday in June so we enjoyed a great dinner for half the price. Thank you La Fonda!

A varied and interesting menu with good service in a great visual space inside this venerable end to the Santa Fe Trail. Best for a leisurely dinner and a stroll around the Plaza afterward.

We had dinner reservations at La Plazuela for 8pm and probably didn't even see our appetizers until 9pm and the main entrees were slow to follow. The service was pleasant, just very slow. I felt like it was in an effort to get us to buy more drinks! I had finished my margarita at least 20 mins before the appetizers even arrived and the server kept coming over to ask if I wanted another. The food was good, but as others have stated, just average, nothing knock your socks off. I had the chile rellenos, and the others I was with had the tamales and the pork tacos. The portions were overly enormous, the three of us could have split 1 dish, which would have been just fine. The ambience here is very nice.
