We were looking for a new (to us) place to obtain take-out food so we ordered Fish Tacos and Soft Blue Corn Tacos for dinner.

The food was ready in the 15 minutes that it took me to get there. It was hot and very tasty.

The ambience of the old house setting that the restaurant's dining room presents is cozy, friendly, and welcoming. You would do well to make a reservation and to dine here.

Saw review on trip advisor and went for a fantastic meal. Great margarita selection. Helpful staff with choices. Large & fresh portions. Shared combination plate with hubby. Pork tamale, blue corn burrito and chicken adovada. There were seven choices to individualize your combo plate. Friendly atmosphere. Will go again.

The food is delicious; the service is good, particularly given how busy they always are; the ambience is swell. It's a little high pricewise for taking a family of 7 and the drinks are more expensive than they need to be, but all in all, it's a good choice for good ole downhome New Mexican food. It is the sister restaurant of the Shed, which is downtown. Probably more hometown folks at La Choza and more tourists at the Shed (though lots of folks who work downtown head there for it at lunchtime). The patio is lovely and you can watch the Roadrunner train pass by in the spaces in the coyote fencing.

We come here for lunch at least once every trip to Santa Fe. The food is just fabulous and the wait staff is too!
