La Choza is a good place for my family - one generation can have the flat blue corn cheese enchiladas that we crave (almost as good as the Shed's) - and the older and younger ones can get burgers, soup, salad, and *almost* Tex-Mex style chalupas.

I think that if you are interested in margaritas or cocktails, you will have a good selection at La Choza, though we did not have any alcohol on this visit.

Service is good, considering how large an establishment La Choza has become. The guy in the parking lot is a little bit irritating - is a guard of any sort necessary? (Maybe, don't know.) There are a lot of new rooms at La Choza, at least to my eyes.

One of our absolute favorite restaurants here. And the kiddos love hanging out in the patio area where they can wave to the train as it goes by. Incredible food and you have got to love the hosts and staff...just all around fantastic experience.

This place was recommended by locals instead of a similar restaurant frequented by tourists only. La choza has more local Patrons. Great food at very affordable price.

We went to La Choza one Saturday night in June and sat outdoors on the patio. It was one of those perfect Santa Fe evenings where you feel the magic of a Santa Fe night. The food was great, the service first rate, and the prices, moderate.I had an enchilada with cheese and pork and she had a vegetarian enchilada plate. Both had rice, and beans, and lots of delicious green chili and cheese. I've never tasted chili like the chili in New Mexico. We had reservation but no one seemed to wait that long for a table. La Choza has ample parking in back and is easy to find (it's near the rail yard). if you've been to The Shed on the plaza, the food is the same, the surroundings equally as nice, but parking is much easier. The Shed and La Choza have the same owners so the food is equally good in both places. For a delicious Northern New Mexico meal in a lovely setting at a moderate price, you just can't go wrong with Santa Fe's La Choza

First, this place is a little hard to find. It is tucked away on a side street. They advertise themselves as serving "Mew Mexican" cuisine. Didn't see anything new about it, but it was good solid Mexican favorites. My bride had a combination plate with chile relleno, carne adovada pork, pisole, and pinto beans. I had enchilada with carne adovada pork and the same sides. They were spicy but excellent. The service was fast and friendly even though the restaurant was crowded.
