El Farol's tapas are a treat worth stopping for on Santa Fe's Canyon Road. One has a huge choice in planning a platter of 3 or one of 6 for two. The choices include seafood, imaginative vegetables, salads, cheeses and delicious meats. The portions are generous with port or sherry infused sauces making each selection a true taste treat. El Farol's menu includes many other choices, but the tapas are the specialties of the house. Two examples were slices of perfectly cooked duck in a sweet carrot sauce or slices of tender pork tenderloin in a port fig sauce.
