“Locals place”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 1, 2013

This is one of the places that locals frequent. Only open for Breakfast and Lunch. Food is great but chile is a bit hot so be careful. Very old interior which is part of the charm, no frills but good food.

“Not your usual tourist place...”

Kinda divey, but huevos rancheros breakfast was delicious and really inexpensive. I would pick this over a $20 hotel breakfast any day!

“Yummy but drab”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 23, 2013

The food was great! Try the breakfast burritos, enchiladas and sopapillas. The restaurant wasn't super clean and had very little in the way of decor. I would have liked to visit with a big group for a nice brunch but would hesitate because of how drab it looked. Fun waiter but he talks a lot :) We didn't mind but some would.

“People recommended this place as a hidden gem...”

but it was as good as many other places in town, not better or worse. Typical Mexican fare. Service was adequate, not outstanding, as was the food. Location, however, is good. Near the Lensic Performing Arts Center and the Plaza.
