“A must for breakfast in Santa Fe”
Reviewed August 24, 2014

We never miss having breakfast here several times during our annual visits to Santa Fe. Cheerful, fun atmosphere, excellent service, tasty food. Didn't have lunch or dinner here this year, but remember being less than impressed with our food when we had dinner here last year....and being surprised at how expensive it was. ( Although we met very interesting people at the communal table.) So we'll definitely continue enjoying our tradition of breakfast at Cafe Pascual, but probably won't be drawn there for other meals. Note that they don't take reservations for breakfast and there can be await in high season.

“Not very happy”
Reviewed August 23, 2014 via mobile

The location is great but as soon as I walked in it smelled very bad (probably a dish), the service was a bit slow.... The food tasted good. We ordered desserts and they both came with lots of alcohol, which is not specified in the menu so I couldn't really enjoy mine because I'm pregnant.

“Breakfast at the community table”
Reviewed August 22, 2014

We had breakfast this morning at the community. The french bread french toast was very good. We enjoyed talking with others at the table. We were told there would be a 15 minute wait but sat down in about 5 minutes. The service was good. Sat next to a man who formerly lived in Santa Fe and said he has be eating there since it opened in about 1980. He said he dines there whenever he is in town. We would definitely go there again.

“Won't be the last time.”
Reviewed August 22, 2014

I have owned this cookbook for over 25 years, and had never had the pleasure of eating here. We were in town for a short weekend trip, I handmade ever actions a couple of weeks earlier . When you are in Santa Fe, you can definitely tell it's a popular dining venue. The Colorado lamb chops were beyond perfection, charred on the outside and perfectly pink. My husband even tried them and thought they were delicious. His fresh mint ice cream sundae, truly was the best I have ever tasted. Should of ordered 2! I had the fresh figs, goat cheese and drizzled honey. YUM!

“Yummy and unique”
Reviewed August 21, 2014 via mobile

Excellent food -- a totally original menu that spices up the traditional New Mexican fare. Yes, it's tiny and pricey, so be prepared to wait and pay and be cozy and intimate with other restaurant-goers. But the food is fresh, organic and definitely hits the spot.
