I didn't know what to expect at this restaurant but found that all the ingredients for a nice dining experience are here which are: pleasant surrounding, well trained service staff and, of course, good food. The food included a very well stocked salad bar with tasty and inventive dishes, not just salad, cucumbers and beets. Besides salads, there is also a warm dish (ours was a mango chicken) with Cuban beans and corn and rice and potatoes. For an additional $6.00, you can have all the meat that you want which included steak, chicken, lamb, sausage, etc. prepared in different ways. The seasonings on the salads and meat were very different and all quite good. Only minor complaint is it is a little pricey for lunch but then it is all you can eat so maybe it is a good deal and the quality if high.

Only opened a month, this is a great addition to Santa Fe's dinning scene. At a fixed price of $28, you get all you can eat of quality food. Large salad/past/veggie bar, and the waiters bring meats on skewers around the tables. There is a selection of several kinds: prime rib, lamb, filet mignon, chicken, stuffed grape leaves, several pork items which we didn't try. Dessert is extra, and they only had two to choose from. They have excellent Belgian beers on tap, including Delerium Noctuturum which is not available anywhere else in the area, including the liquor stores.

This is an excellent interpretation of the Brazilian concept of the Cachasaria. Large salad bar with a great variety of food on it, followed by several different kinds of meat, brought to your table, at your own pace. It's all you can eat and you let the wait staff know when to bring the next course. The salad bar had wonderful and varied dishes on it borrowing from New Mexican, Brazilian, Carribbean, North African and Italian cuisines. The wait staff was very helpful and extremely professional. And the owner came over and talked to us for quite a while, making us feel very welcome. He even brought us a beer sampler when we first sat down. If you want to get away from the yuppiness of downtown Santa Fe, and drive 1/2 mile south of the main tourist area, this is definitely worth the trip. After dinner, walk three store fronts down to Tiny's and have a drink and dance to a live blues/rock/country band. We did that and had a great evening!

The location my be a touch off the beaten track, but the dining experience is hard to beat. The Salad bar is a bit upscale, featuring such combinations as kale and walnuts homey mustard saude, Cuban Beans, cilantro and basmati rice, etc. But don't fill up on that unless you're going for the vegetarian only option. The meats are out of this world and are served with a flare typical of Brazilian Grills. A table light cues the serving staff that you are ready for meats. They continue coming until you turn it off, bringing bite size portions of beef, chicken pork and lamb, each on a serving skewer from which the staff portions out. Each meat is spiced in a unique way so that each new portion is a new taste sensation. The prime rib was buttery, the beef kabob was wonderfully peppery, the leg of lamb was flavorful, the pork rib had a delicious sauce, the sausage had a taste reminiscent of kosher salami and the grape leaf wrapped chopped beef had a nice smokey taste. The chicken wrapped in bacon was wonderfully juicy and smokey too. You can turn the light off and on as many times as you wish. while there is unique fruit salad at the salad bar, by far the most mouthwatering surprise was the caramelized pineapple infused with butter and brown sugar and cooked on a spit, Hot and deliciously swee. Be prepared for one taste surprise after another.
