Looking for a light meal. Stopped by in that weird time of the afternoon where most every other restaurant in Santa Fe is closed (2p-5:30p). The server behind the counter was super friendly and helpful.

The place was much larger than we had anticipated, especially given the limited parking. You can sit outside in or back. We opted for inside, which while somewhat utilitarian, was clean and functional. With all the hard service, we thought it might get a bit loud when crowded.

A plethora of varied menu choices & very high-quality food. We ordered the seared Ahi Tuna Taco and the Asian Combo (spicy noodle & thai-style spring roll.) The portions were enormous. The ahi tuna taco was top notch with lots of greens and we fought over every bite. The cold sesame noodles were uber-spicy & totally delicious. I couldn't stop eating them. The spring roll was good, but IMHO it turned into a bit of a carbo-load having both.

In any case,it was a huge meal and we were totally stuffed afterwords. Oh well, so much for a lite "snack"!

We'd definitely go back again.

They only make them on certain days so you may want to call ahead. Also they only take cash. Great food, plenty of seating indoors and outdoors.

Santa Fe is such a great town; full of exciting discoveries one might expect to find only in a town 10 times its size. I went to CC for the first time due to our first choice being closed on Mondays. What a lucky twist of fate! CC is, to quote the reigning cliche, "a hidden gem". In this case however, REALLY hidden in the corner of a totally nondescript location; and housing an open, airy, hip, smart, lively, fun and delicious eatery. All homemade--soups salads, sandwiches, desserts; open breakfast, lunch and dinner with beer and wine and outside dining. Go, you won't regret it.

CC offers great salads, sandwiches and other cold dishes. I especially love the cold sesame noodles with chicken -- delightful flavors. The place is a little odd looking, as one might suspect from the name, but never mind. Just order at the cashier and great food will be brought to the table you select. They also have several tables outside, at which well-behaved dogs are permitted. We recommend it highly.

Quality food, informal atmosphere, self-service ordering, alfresco dining on the terrace, in this restuarant/art gallery. One of the best breakfast choices in Santa Fe...and definitely the best breakfast burrito. The owner, Jason is an alumni of Pasqual's, one of Santa Fe's signature fine-dining restuarants. Inspired by Pasqual's, Jason's Counter Culture offers the same top notch quality at affordable pricing. That's why it's a favorite of locals and jammed packed, especially for breakfast and lunch...but don't pass up the dinner menu and nice wine list though.
