“Great Food Great Service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2014

A local suggested the restaurant and what a great suggestion! Excellent and interesting food and superb service. The food has wonderful flavors and it is not standard Mexican food. The black beans have distinct flavoring as does the rice. The "BOMB" is the bomb and not to be missed. The food tastes fresh. The atmosphere is casual so no need to dress up.

“Transfer food to plate when Sizzling”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 8, 2014

Ambiance was nice. Sizzling dish was so hot the vegetables burned. One must stir it or transfer immediately to a plate to avoid charring. Otherwise lovely food.

“an unexpected pleasant surprise”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 8, 2014

We were looking for a lunch spot away and we found Mucho Gusto tucked away. We went in for lunch, were seated immediately, and were well attended by our waitstaff. The food was very good and the atmosphere was cute and pleasant. It is not the spiciest place in town, but the food was flavorful and satisfying. I will definitely go back.

“Mucho Goodo”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 2, 2014

It's not visible from the street; you have to be looking for Mucho Gusto but it's well worth tracking down. The margaritas are small but excellent. The pork fajitas were wonderfully flavored. The food is fresh; the staff are so helpful.

“Freshly Prepared”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 2, 2014

The thing you can count on here is that everything is fresh. You get a sense that someone's grandmother is in the kitchen cooking for you. Do not hesitate to ask for what you want. The chef often is able to make your dream come true if you just ask. I noticed that to please the healthier tourists and the elder local crowd that the chef under-seasons many dishes and one needs to request a little more seasoning if you would like it to match a typical good restaurant.
