We had seen Yin Yang Chinese Restaurant on our previous visits to Santa Fe but had never tried the food.During our recent stay we were craving chinese food and since we were at the hotel around the corner we decided to give it a try. My husband ordered the sweet and sour shrimp with fried rice and I had the sweet and sour pork also with the fried rice,it was delicious and filling! we could of actually shared a plate! we're not big eaters but we did a number on this food. we'll definitely go back next time we're in Santa Fe,

We used to love this place! The food was great, the prices were ok, and the service was good. The last time we went my family n I shared two plates- the orange chicken and a beef with veggies. The orange chicken was good, but it only had litterly five pieces of chicken. The beef was super tough and salty. The portions are so small, im not sure when that started cuz thats not how it used to be?? We told the owner/ waiter anout the tough meat & he didnt say anything!!! Just gave us our bill!! No sorry, no nothing. This place is nothing to write home about, not anymore any ways!

Yin Yang offers a large menu with a variety of Chinese dishes. If you go to Ying Yang, everyone in your party should be able to find something that they like! Very clean environment, but the atmosphere lacks a bit of pizzazz. Great Chinese hot tea!

Had take out from Yin Yang and everyone was very happy with our dinner. Hardly a drop left. Beautiful presentation and very tasty. This has to be some of the best Chinese take out we've had in the Southwest. I've been very spoiled by the great variety of inexpensive and delicious asian food to be had on the East Coast. Few SW chinese restaurants can match that. Still Yin Yang was a great value and prompt, which in our experience is not a strong suit of Santa Fe restaurants in general. For vegetarians, the 7 vegetables and tofu was really yummy. Listed as 'spicy', had a little kick but nice balance of flavor. Other eaters in our party enjoyed the Orange Chicken very much. Everything was very good quality and fresh. Yin Yang is going to be one of our new regular spots.

I've been frequenting Yin Yang for many years. The food was always predictable. A visit yesterday proved that the food has slipped a bit. It is still good by Chineese standards, but I sent back my Chow Mein last night due to way too much garlic. The second time around proved that salt must have taken the place of garlic. I still like the place and hope that it was just an "off night". Service is always friendly and superb.
