We go one or twice a year, but had the best meal today: The New Mexico Lamb, ordered (as the waitperson suggested) medium rare. It was a truly memorable dish, very tender, soft and flavorful. Can't wait to try again.

“Great place for a special occasion breakfast or brunch.”
Reviewed August 20, 2013

As Santa Fe locals who love our major Plaza events, we've made a habit of taking a break from Indian Market or Spanish Market with a special-treat breakfast at the Inn of the Anasazi. I'm pleased to report that this past weekend's experience was as good as ever with excellent food and service. Everything is good but the fruit plate is an absolute must.

“good food, service needs improvement”
Reviewed August 18, 2013

I came for Sunday brunch on Indian Market Sunday. There were 3 courses -salad/appetizer, main, dessert plus optional (at extra charge) drink. The drinks were listed on the prix-fixe menu, and I did not notice that a price (in tiny print) follwed the 3 drinks. So I assumed they were included in the price. When the bill arrived, I discovered that they were not.

I waited until my salad arrived to ask about my drink, which then did finally appear. The bread basket and water were not brought to the table, although other tables had them, so I asked. The waitress replied that "she would check." Another 5+ minutes later, they did arrive.

I ordered the organic greens with beets and walnuts, a variation of eggs benedict, and pumpkin flan. They were all good. For $28 this was a good meal. My only negative was about the service. The waitress said she had not worked the early shift before, so I guess she was learning as we went along.

“Outstanding Dining in the Heart of Santa Fe”
Reviewed August 12, 2013

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed eating at the Anasazi Restaurant. The service was perfect, although it was a somewhat slow time, Sunday at 7. The food was amazing. They have both Tex-Mex food and traditional cuisine. My wife had the heritage tomato salad and the vegetarian quesadillas, and I had the gazpacho-melon-sorbet soup, and the Mexican lamb. All of it was elegantly presented and delicious. One of the best meals we've had.

“Great for an app & drink”

Stopped for a cocktail - fantastic wine & drink menu, bartender was phenomenal the way a bartender should be, and the food was great. Can't wait to go back and get a chance to stuff myself!
