When I go out for an expensive meal, I like a little elbow room, I felt like a sardine at Il Piatto. With a crowded restaurant and a good number of wait staff, it wasn't easy to enjoy the very delicious food that was wonderfully prepared. My husband had the roasted chicken. Our waiter warned us that it would take a little longer since it was prepared from scratched. We didn't think it took that long. I had the walnut and gorgonzola ravioli... another fabulous dish. I thought the desserts were very overpriced at nearly $10. We ordered bread pudding with nuts and dried fruit. There was barely any fruit and neither of us noticed any nuts. The bread pudding was more of a custard or flan than bread pudding, once the caramel sauce was scapped off (which did not taste very good), the custard tasted very good. The service was good, but our waiter did seem put our that we didn't drink alcohol.
