I have had brunch, lunch and dinner at Midtown Bistro and am partial to the brunches and lunches there. I have eaten both indoors and out and have enjoyed both environments.

We happened by the Midtown Bistro, which came highly recommended by friends, for Sunday brunch. It was a tad chilly, but we felt like fresh air and asked if we could sit outside on the patio and were promptly seated there with excellent coffee (regular refills without asking, a big plus for me) and an unusual and appealing menu to consider. I had the poached eggs with avocado tomato and spicy hollandaise (an interesting twist on eggs benedict), which was just wonderfully good and different. Not too much avocado, not too spicy, just right, perfectly done. My wife had the ruby trout with risotto and English peas. She is very picky, so a strong recommendation from her is worth a lot, and she loved her meal as well. Service was excellent. The orange juice was so good we had refills, and all the little things (like butter soft not hard) were just right. I'm looking forward to going back for lunch and dinner.

Continental bistro away from the hubbub of the downtown area. The dining space is attractive and the room is warm…the building feels like an old adobe, but may be built of one of the modern concrete building materials to give the sense of "mass". Nicely spaced tables with white tablecloths and spotless glassware. Simple menu with a wide range of cuisine selections, wines by the bottle and glass, and a large selection of dessert. Attentive service and very good bread basket. Why only 4 stars? The prices are high for what you get. Although the food was very good, $30 dollars quoted for a bowl of pasta with protein is a bit much, even for Santa Fe!

This was great. Out of the way of downtown Santa Fe..actually in sort of a light industrial area near the train tracks. Not easy to find but the food will bring you back. Wine selection adequate, food creative but still recognizable with superb service! Pricy casual at it's best.

We were a bit burned out from green chili over dose over 4 days and were looking for a change of pace in Santa Fe. Found this spot on TripAdvisor and the reviews were encouraging. Our last night on this NM holiday couldn't have been better. The decor and atmosphere is clean, tasteful and classy. The table service was fabulous. Salads were excellent and well portioned. The main course selection covered all the bases. We ended up with a rib eye and wild-caught salmon. Both were terrific. The green chili mashed potatoes were a nice touch (and didn't push us over the chili edge). This is a great choice for a special evening with a date or your bride.
