Trip Advisor states this restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch, but this breezy cafe also serves a delicious dinner. For starters we had the smaller size portions of their entree size salads, one with fresh melon and prosciutto the other with prosciutto and eggs. For our entrees we had the seafood pasta special and the pork tenderloin, and they were both great. Good wine selection too. The doors were open and there was a fresh breeze making it seem like we were outdoors. There is outdoor seating in the front and back if you actually want to sit outside, but it was a little too windy for us to be comfortable. To complete our delightful dinner, our very competent server served us two complimentary cookies for dessert. This is a lovely place and we will definitely return. Reservations accepted.

We sought this restaurant out based on Tripadvisor reviews. Oh my! We loved it. We ate outside on a lovely warm day. The menu sounds so yummy we had a difficult time deciding on what to order. We settled on chicken cordon bleu and a croissant with jamon and fromage!! They were both so wonderful! My favorite was the au gratin potatoes. I could eat those everyday. We WILL be back!!!

Had a wonderful lunch at chez Mamou. The quality of the food was excellent (including the delicious patisserie!). We had scampi salad, duck salad and prosciutto and melon. Everything was fresh and tasty and the wine (from a small but well selected wine list) delicious. The owner was friendly and the service impeccable. A real French experience in Santa Fe!

I just spent six months in Paris and I must say eating at Chez Marmou was like being back there only with a Southwestern flair. Their latte was generous, hot and flavorful. I had to have a Pan de Chocolate only they call it something different. Sam, our server, seated us on a colorful, long, narrow side patio - oh, I loved being outside in warm weather. My niece had a ham omelette with a side of greens which she enjoyed. They had a nice selection of pasteries and breakfast items. Santa Fe has many eateries but they have a winner in Chez Marmou.

We didn't even know it was there. We were walking down East Palace and saw some beautiful stones on a necklace in a window. We walked into the shop which sold semiprecious beads and jewelry, bought the necklace and a few strands of moonstone, then turned around and there was a charming (yes charming) little bistro right through the wall. This is Chez Mamou. There was a case of pastries and mousse and cookies at the back. We sat down at a tiny table next to the real front door.. the small building has two front doors -one for each business. We had tea and 3 pastries. The staff were very pleasant and happy to help. It was unpretentious and the setting simple. We returned a couple weeks later and had a late lunch: Eggs Benedict- superb; and chicken curry crepe- sublime, and dessert - delicious. It was clear that the chef and kitchen staff knew food. Lemon mousse is a poem, and there are dinner specials from noon until dinnertime. We intend to return.
