We slipped in here today to have a quick snack before proceeding on our tourist travels. The bar was cute and not croweded. The prices were moderate but the food was excellent. My wife had a "modern chile rellenos" which was fresh, not breaded and stuffed with cheese. It came in a delicious red chile sauce that hightly complemented the rellenos. I enjoyed a fresh bowl of posole with pork but you can have it with chicken. It was very good and not too spicy.
Of course there is a full bar. wine and beer on tap or by the bottle. I would recommend the "Blue Moon" on draft as it was refreshing with the snack. Oh yes, you also get a flour tortilla and a sopapilla ( what our aunt called soft pillows) with honey on the side. It's right off the Plaza so it's easy to get to.

Best thing about the place is the decor.
Over priced small drinks, horrible and slow staff.
Sometimes frequented by real motorcycle gang members & their friends, several patrons have been threatened, me as well!
Good food but way too expensive, most nights its dead, not popular with locals as the management think this place is above locals. It's ashame the place has major potential.
Much better, fair priced, more fun bars in town.

Inattentive bar tender does not know how to make martinis. My wife had to ask her to put some vodka in her martini. Two tries, struck out. My first Scotch and soda was okay, the second was watery. Not much there except a bunch of hubcaps and noisy music.

we walked about 1/2 block and got a beer and a drink, some chips and sals. While there several groups came and went and even a couple of dogs brought their people.

After reading the previous reviews, I am quite surprised that no one mentioned the very small cocktails they serve at a premium price. Perhaps this is new policy that just started? The drinks are indeed, very good, but also a tiny amount, come in a small tumbler full of ice, and can be finished off in about 3 small sips. Music was also noisy and racous, instead of a pleasant, soft style that would fit the atmosphere better.
