We stopped in for a glass of tea/wine after a day of our own walking tour of Santa Fe. Very nice bar, nice wait staff, very professional. Be sure to stop in for a drink and appetizer or lunch.

They have a great selection of drinks and the live music was awesome. A perfect way to end your day with a nightcap and watching couples dance to some great music!
We had stopped in here as it was recommended for the bar with good drinks and appetizers. While the majority of tables were full it was certainly not bursting at the seams. We were seated and it took at least 10 minutes for Jackie to stop by the table. She asked what we wanted to drink but of course no one left us any menus so we said we’d like to see menus and we’d like waters. She finally made it back with menus - no waters so we asked again. Another 10 min passed when she came back for our order (sans water). Gave her our drink order asked for waters again. Another 10+ minutes passes and our drinks came (sans water again). We asked again for water. Not only did the waters never arrive but she never came back and asked if we wanted anything to snack on. Needless to say - we were quite frustrated. Asked for our check from the hostess as Jackie never came back to acknowledge us. Hostess told her to bring our check ( a mere $30) for two drinks. Again she never came back to get the card so we went to the bar to cash out. When asked how it was we said horrible and explained we asked for water 3 different times and never did get to order food. When the bar tender asked who our server was - he said “oh Jackie.....” so it must be well known that she is a terrible server. Why would you keep someone on that is so bad? Is it because Mgmt does not care since the La Fonda has been there since 1922 and suckers keep coming back? It makes you wonder - we will never return there. We left and went to the Living Room at the Loretto for a drink and appetizers.
Our sincere apologies and we will share with Jackie and the team to ensue that this issue is corrected immediately. There is no excuse for service like this and our team is generally on point. Thank you for taking the time to post this feedback, although it may be difficult to receive, it is most helpful for our success moving forward.
My wife and I have visited Santa Fe many times since 2005 and we love arts and good food. Tonight we choose to eat at La Fiesta Lounge at La Fonda Hotel. We came in from the street and therefore we waited 20 min. for a table. When we got our table we waited 40 min. on our food. When we got our food my wife was happy about her gluten free lamb dish but I was VERY disappointed with my Hatch Green Chile Cheeseburger. It was dry, not medium/rare as ordered, in lack of taste whatsoever. No waiter ever asked me how it was. It was the worst meal I had in Santa Fe for 14 years. I would hope that La Fiesta Lounge would run a quality assurance once in a while.

Dining room at El Fondo was full so we ate at La Fiesta and it was perfect. Casual, comfortable; excellent food
