Don't eat the sushi it don't look right. The Prime Rib was good as were the Sweet Biscuits. I wanted to try the Mongolian Grill but there seemed to be a bit of confusion as to how it operated versus the Prime Rib grill.

Fusion Fire Buffet and Grill is designed for those who are starving and couldn't care less about quality. There's nothing here that you haven't seen before in a dime-a-dozen chinese buffet. When a buffet lays out salmon with CHEESE!!!!! on it, you know that the appeal is for those unsophisticated diners who want to eat a lot and have no idea what good food is all about. If you like greasy, mediocre, filling, and fairly tasteless dishes of ordinary flare, this is the place for you. Service is friendly and efficient. My wife and I stay away for 6-9 months, just enough time to wonder if it has improved, only to be disappointed once again with the sorry state of americanized chinese food. Restaurants such as this one continue to be popular - what's not to like about a set price for as much food as you can eat? But the mediocrity kills it every time. I think we've visited Fusion Fire for the last time. If you are one who enjoys this place, all the best to you. There are much better, but not necessarily in Santa Fe.

Had a late lunch here and were not really aware that it was a buffet. They did offer steaks cooked to order are a nice touch - but really, really thin - impossible to cook correctly and very heavily seasoned. Typical asian food choices on buffet - good but not outstanding in any way and it was fairly pricey for the actual quality - but seems like most people make up for that by consuming more quantity -

Traditional Chinese buffet in Santa Fe. Recently reopened under new management/ownership. Nice grill area preparing steaks to order. All the usual fare at hot tables. Pleasant clean atmosphere. A better than average value in Santa Fe.

The atmosphere is nice, and one's expectations go up on viewing the 5 buffet tables that seem to offer a great variety. However, everything following is downhill. The salmon was so dry that it seemed to have been prepared the day before. The chicken selections were rubbery and tasteless. The noodles and green beans were pretty good, and the desserts included canned peaches and canned pineapples. This place can only be recommended to families with famished and nondiscriminating teenagers.
