We just came back from a week at the Inn of the Five Graces. The Inn is centrally located but surprisingly quiet. Undoubtedly, it is the best place we have stayed in Santa Fe. Our room was charming, and Niall, the manager, and his stuff made every effort to make our stay as pleasant as possible. What service! We loved the breakfast, the wine and cheese in the afternoon, and the jacuzzi tub in the room. We will be back!

Okay, so this Inn was lovely....Maxine and Niles were so nice....everything is perfect, except we couldn't sleep at night. It was very warm during our visit, and unfortunately...our room #7 had the airconditioner six inches from one side of the bed. We tried to sleep with it running, but that didn't work...as we got too cold and it was very noisy...and the next night without it...it was hot and stuffy. This Inn is wonderful, perhaps if you try a different room than what we had, your experience will be perfect!!!!!

my boyfriend and i were fortunate enough to stay at the five graces during a quiet weekend getaway to santa fe. the location is perfect! we were able to walk nearly anywhere we wanted to go. the staff is awesome (we loved maxine's waffles in the morning, and wine and cheese with niall and anne in the afternoon) everyone is incredibly helpful and friendly with a great knowledge of the local favorites of santa fe. but above all, the place felt very homey. our room was beautifully decorated and consisted of a cozy kitchen, sitting room with a kiva fireplace, bedroom and bathroom. every amenity we could want was provided from iron with ironing board, hair dryer, robes, fragrant toiletries, to cookies at turndown and snacks and drinks (all complimentary) in the fridge. the whole property is very comfortable and friendly and welcoming. we can't wait to return.

Stayed here for five days and loved every moment. My favorite feature is that this hotel is on the oldest consistently inhabited street in the country! The Five Graces is also within walking distance of over 660 galleries, countless restaurants, and many historical sites of intrest. I never got bored, even without a schedule to follow and no car! The rooms are all unique and captivating. There was actually an enormous, iron plow above the doorway to my bedroom.

The Inn of the Five Graces is truly one of the most special & beautiful small hotels we've ever experienced [and we travel extensively]. The decor is an artfully eclectic mix of Afghani-Tibetan-Southwestern antiques with feather beds so cloudlike we had to drag ourselves away each morning to see the sights. The location is perfect, on a quiet side street, but within walking distance of the Plaza, museums and Canyon Road art galleries.
After a long day of traveling we were greeted by the lovely Charlene w/ a delicious margarita, lit the fire in our room and settled in. All the rooms have their own unique character, ours, #24 had the most fabulous bathroom [hand painted tiles, huge deep tub & separate shower w/ a glorious painted ceiling]. We also had a small private courtyard where we had coffee in the morning [don't miss the frittatas, fresh fruit and other breakfast things which they'll be glad to put on a tray to carry back to your room].
Niall, the manager could not have been more warm and gracious, as were all the staff without exception. Be sure to have dinner at Pink Adobe around the corner and don't miss the excellent tapas at El Farol. Ellen Barkin was checking in as we left, I wanted to tell her she's in for a real treat !

We spent my husband's birthday in Santa Fe in early February. We chose the Inn of the Five Graces based on the reviews we read here on Tripadvisor and we felt we should add our names to the list of satisfied customers! Please note this is not the most elegant or posh place you'll ever stay but it's unique and magical from the furniture to the fabulous mosaic tiling in the bathrooms. This Inn provides a pleasant departure from both your everyday life and your average hotel stay.

My husband and I stayed here for the last three nights of our honeymoon and it was amazing. The room was so beautiful and all of the staff were so nice and helpful. I wish I could have taken the bed home and the whirlpool tub!!! Everyone should experience this inn at least once. I really wasn't to impressed with Santa Fe but I was in love with this inn.

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
In one of Santa Fe’s most historic neighborhoods, designers Ira and Sylvia Seret, transformed a neglected cluster of traditional adobe buildings into a unique hotel. As internationally-known importers of exotic antiques, rugs, textiles and architectural elements, the Serets conceived the hotel as a showcase for their combined creative talents. From its 1996 opening as “Serets’ 1001 Nights”, the 24-suite hotel has been a magical retreat, brimming with the most exquisite of the Serets’ treasures, collected on travels through Central and South Asia. Sylvia Seret’s glorious, one-of-a-kind tile mosaics adorn the suites’ kitchens and bathrooms, while Ira Seret’s signature design style makes every space an extraordinary living experience. In 2002 the Inn was renamed to honor its sensuous atmosphere along with its many Afghan and Tibetan artifacts. The name, “Five Graces”, refers to an Eastern concept — the five graces of sight, sound, touch, smell, and taste. Each needs to be honored in the full experience of life. Over the years, the Serets’ original vision has been continually developed with meticulous attention to excellent service, cuisine, and comfort as the Inn has grown into newly acquired properties on its historic street. They continually enhance the hotel’s visual experience, updating design elements and collection pieces throughout. The Inn’s mission is to offer guests a uniquely unforgettable experience. ... more   less
